Free: Home Theater subwoofer speaker (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 2d - Free. Curb shopped from lady selling her brother's house. UNTESTED (I don't have equipment). Black colored. From home theater. No reason to assume it's broken. She was unable to sell it before closing on house. 15.5 inches tall and I'd guess 12 or 13 wide, and maybe 15 inches long. Over 100 watts. Retails for $230 brand new. Light duty short cord is NOT from the speaker, seems to fit, but might be intended from low wattage radio, can't recall. Can leave on porch on Bruton Ave in Newport News, a ways east of Harpersville.

Free: HP laser jet color printer (Newport News, Bruton Ave) 3d - LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw color MFP. I rec'd it from several months ago. Can't recall if it worked fine at first, but after a while it would print one page, then jam the next blank sheet. I'd pull the paper tray out and pull the blank sheet out. I learned to just print one page at a time. I also printed from the USB port. Sometimes my Wifi worked, depending on the application I was printing from. I'll throw in an unopened black toner cartridge (3 pics). MIGHT find some smaller color cartridges, but can't find them now. Paper manual, and I can email what digital papers I downloaded. I live on Bruton Avenue, a ways east of Harpersville, in Newport News.

Free: Hymnals 1990 from Presbyterians (Newport News, Bruton Ave) 9d - Approx. 35 or 40 blue good condition hymnals from Presbyterian church when we upgraded. Has tunes indexed several ways. Can leave on porch on Bruton, near Harpersville in Newport News.

Free: MIrror 30 by 36, no frame (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 9d - 30 by 36 inches. very thin, maybe 1/8 or tad more thick. Has "tic tac tow" pattern etched into border, about 1-1/4 inches from edge. Sorry, no mounting hardware came with it. Liberated when church was thinning out surplus. Can leave against porch in front yard. On Bruton near Harpersville in Newport News..

Free: Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet Spay Head (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 34d - Never used. Wrote to Kohler to have ours replaced by warranty. Got impatient and ordered this $8 one. Kohler delivered before I got this installed. Kudos to Kohler. Make sure your kitchen faucet is like the one in pic, with pull-down hose spray head. This will NOT replace the sprayer mounted to the side of your faucet. The connecting end is the size of a penny, as shown. Can leave on porch in Newport News, on Bruton Avenue. Not sure, but I think the round button is for temporarily stopping the water.

Free: Blades for Ceiling Fan, whitish (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 35d - I bought these, as I recall, from ReStore years ago, to replace blades my son broke in his room. The hole spacing wasn't the same, so they couldn't be used. Then later he salvaged an entire fan from a remodel house. These appear to be from a fan that was 40 to 44 inches in diameter. The bolt hole spacing is very near or equal to 1-1/2 inch. Can leave on porch, on Bruton Avenue, in Newport News, a bit east of Harpersville.

Free: Bag Beach Chairs, Redish (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Withdrawn 35d - Very old. I curbed shopped these the other day. The backs appear to be very faded, with some minor rips. The front look alright. We're too heavy to every get out of them, if we were to use them our selves. Minor rust on a couple joints. Free: Left Handed Strung Folk Guitar (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 48d - Curb shopped a few blocks over. Takamine brand, made in Indonesia. Model G-240. The strings have been reconfigured for a left hand player, and the black plastic "pick scratch" plate was flipped and reversed. I assume it could be restored back to the original configuration. Includes nice padded soft case, old strings (I think), and a couple accessories. Can leave on porch on Bruton Ave in Newport News, a bit east of Harpersville.

Free: Desert Storm Newspaper (Newport News, Bruton Ave) 55d - April 16, 1991 Daily Press special edition for return of soldiers and sailors from Desert Storm war. Can leave on porch, on Bruton Ave, in Newport News.

Free: Egg Cartons, 20, each for 18 eggs (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Expired 103d - Roughly half are light blue Styrofoam and the other half cardboard. Can leave on porch on Bruton Ave, a ways east of Harpersville, in Newport News. Free: Very Old 120 volt Christmas bulbs (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 127d - Got about 45 or 50 of them. I only have the blubs, not the electrical strings (no idea why not). You can still buy lights and strings for these off Amazon. They take 110 volt, 7 watt (I assume) C7 (or E-12 candelabra) bulb bases. I THINK these were made in the 1960s by General Electric. They've got tiny glass or clear plastic cubes on them, to make them look like ice balls. I'll also toss in the light bulb covers (guess around 25 or 30) shown in the pics, which make a bell-looking cover. Located on Bruton Ave, a bit east of Harpersville.

Free: Folding Door for Closet, white (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 127d - Folding Door for Closet, fake panels, white. As I recall, it's 14-3/4 inches wide (folded), and I think 79 inches tall. I can measure again if you'd like. I believe it'll fit a closet door opening 30 wide, by 80 tall. Curb shopped I assume. Doesn't come with the track for the top. Pretty good condition. I'm on Bruton a bit east of Harpersville in Newport News.

Free: Old used Jig Saw Puzzles, 5 (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 136d - Old used Jig Saw Puzzles, 5 count. Left over from church rummage sale. I can only assure the 100-piece one of "Where's Waldo" is totally complete. The others, not so sure. Might be good for crafts, like making Christmas wreaths or ornaments? My guess is the 500 piece on in the small box, of the beach scene, is most likely to have missing pieces. Can leave on porch, on Bruton, a bit east of Harpersville.

Free: Heal Protectors - Medical Pads (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Expired 218d - An elderly lady at church used these to keep from getting bedsores on her heals while she was in hospice care. You wear these like padded boots, and strap them tight with velcro. The side straps are to ensure your foot doesn't get bent from the weight of blankets, no matter how heavy they are. Free: 65th Birthday Decorations (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 249d - Rec'd from Trashnothing, but only used some paper plates and a few napkins, being introverts. About 20 paper plates remain (small sized) and as many napkins. One banner is general "Happy Birthday" (I think). The other says "65 Celebration" on it. Everything is gold and black colored. Can leave in water proof bags on porch, on Bruton Ave in Newport News, a bit east of Harpersville.

Free: Reusable Ice Packs (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 275d - See pics. We don't have space in the freezer to store these anymore. A couple are thick plastic bag type. 2 are small steel cans, and probably 50 years old. Good to keep your fridge or freezer cold during power failures. We used them for long trips in the car, and would re-freeze them at the hotel or relatives house. Can leave in water proof bags on porch, on Bruton Ave, in Newport News, a bit east of Harpersville.

Free: Three wall-mount Mirrors (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 275d - The two smaller framed ones are about 14 or 16 inches wide, I'd guess. There's some paint on spots on the stainless steel frames. I can get two more identical ones next Sunday. The church is remodeling the restrooms. The large one has no frame. Free: Wall mount speaker (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Expired 281d - Came from church. I assume it was in the nursery. Wall mounted, so it leans downward some. Includes transformer, which I assume connects to 110 volts to amplify sound. Doubt I can help you with wiring. I haven't tested it, so can't promise it works. Radio Shack brand. Approx 10 inches square. Can leave in water proof bags on porch on Bruton Ave in Newport News a bit east of Harpersville.

Free: Toilet Seats, one soft closing (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 318d - Two elongated (not for the smaller "round" toilets) toilet seats from liberated toilets my son brought home. The blue one is name brand (Belvis?) and has the silent close feature us married men like to have during the night. The off-white one is NOT quiet closing, and could be cleaned a bit more. Free: "Chicken Wire" Green Plastic (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 1y - Guess it's 12 feet or so total. Two sections are zip tied together. Curb shopped from neighbor several months ago, and haven't needed to use it yet. There's one hole (see pic) maybe big enough for a soda can to squeeze thru. Guess it's 4 ft wide, surely at least 3 feet. Maybe good to protect tomato plant? Temporarily mend a broken section of your privacy fence? Free: Antique Desk Fan - not running (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 1y - Picked this up in a pile of scrap steel. It's been out in the weather for maybe years. Fan turns with resistance. Cord looks fairly recent, but I doubt it's worth resurrecting to get operational again. You might try, The rusted dented small milk container (I assume) goes along with the fan. though. Looks like the serial number is 1. I recall some artist folks repurpose these things into table lamps or other things. Car to give it a shot? The base is very heavy. In it's day it oscillated back and forth. See pic for idea of size. Can leave on porch on Bruton Ave, between Harpersville and Leonard in Watkins section of Newport News.

Free: Sea Shells, some broken (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 1y - See pics. 2 glass jars full, plastic shoe box partially full, grocery bag partially full. Most are broken pieces. In-Laws collected these over the years while on vacations at the beach. Might be good for crafts. I can leave in cardboard box on porch. Free: Free Standing Sign Board, Chrome (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted 1y - Our church no longer needs this steel Sign with removeable cardboard insert. You can thumb tack notices to the carboard, or maybe print out huge signs for occasional use at your events or meetings. Dimensions of the visible area (the cardboard is a tad larger) and total height are on the 2nd pic. The cardboard is currently covered with a red checkered cloth, but only on one one side. The base isn't as heavy as I expected. I'd guess it's stamped steel maybe a tad thicker than 1/8 inch. It might not be heavy enough for outdoor use on windy days.
