Offer: Hanging Folders, Green, Letter size (Newport News, Bruton Ave) - Probably 30 or 40 by now. Thinning down to start retirement in a couple years. All have metal hooks on the ends to hang from file cabinet drawers. Can leave on porchon Bruton Ave in Newport News, near J Clyde Morris and the Interstate. -paul Offer: Walmart 2-ton Floor Jack, leaks (Newport News, Bruton Ave) - Black Jack brand. 2-ton cheap floor jack. My son bought it from Walmart, and finally rasied it to it's maximum height. Ever since then it won't stay up. I topped it off with fluid, but that made no difference. I'd guess it needs to be taken apart and have the check valve balls and o-rings replaced. For only $30, I don't have the time. Might cost $5 for parts, I'd guess. Very little rust, maybe a tad on the caster wheels. Can leave on porch. -paul Offer: 2 Garden Hoses - peach colored (Newport News, Bruton Ave) - See pics to estimate length. There are two hoses coupled together in the center. I dumpster dived them, and repairer one end of one. Minor leak at the faucet connection, just hand tightening the connection. Problem is the hose is so thin walled that it kinks easily and blocks flowage. If you intentionaly Kink the host to control the flow, then I guess this is a good thing. I had to twist it, once deployed to full length, to get the kinks out, when I hosed off the side of the detached garage. Can leave in front yard for you to pick up. I'm on Bruton Ave, off Harpersville, in Newport News. -paul

Offer: Christmas Tree, 6 ft (Newport News, Bruton Ave) - We'll buy a new artificial tree in 4 years, when it's our turn to host the family Christmas again. Originally had built in lights, but they don't work anymore. Base folds like an umbrella. Anybody got space for it til December? Request: 14 ft of 48 inch tall fence fabric (Newport News, Bruton Ave) - Building a swinging gate across the driveway to keep the dog in the backyard. Tomorrow I'll concrete in a 6 by 6 post. Next step is to assemble a 14 ft long 2 by 4 gate frame to hinge on the post. It'll have a diagonal turnbuckle to keep it in shape. I'd like to put cattle fence or maybe chain link fence within the 4 by 15 ft frame. Looks like I'd need to buy a $50 roll of black painted cattle fence, to use only 14 feet of it. Once the gate is operational manually, I'll install a swinging gate actuator I ordered online from Northern Tool. Want to stay on the Peninsula side of the bridge tunnel, please. -paul Offer: Basket Ball Net, 12 loops, unused (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted - Looks never used, pure white, 12 loops to attached to basket ball rim.Liberated it somewhere, can't recall. Offer: 220 volt air comp - broke (Newport News, Bruton Ave) Gifted - Got this years ago off Freecycle I think. The "pump" on the compressor has jammed. I installed an old refrisgeration pump on it, but the tubing leaks in three places. I can probably fix the leaks, but it spit out old all the time it was leaking, and I don't think I can live with that much oil getting into my compressed air, espeically if I ever use it for spray painting. Tank and electric motor appear to be fine. I just ran out of space in my garage and have to give it a new home. It's a Craftsman brand. I'm on Bruton Avenue in Newport NEws. -paul

Offer: Flourescent Tubes, U-Shaped (Bruton Ave Newport news) Gifted - My church replaced all the 2 by 2 foot ceiliing U-shaped flourescent fixtures with LED light. I took the old tubes, including lots of spares. Anybody need tubes? Most are the old fat ones. There's a few of the new thin ones. A few are like 10 inch round ones. Offer: Air Tank, Fiberglass (Bruton Ave Newport news) Gifted - See pics. Probably 50 years old. When I was given it, I was told it has a pin hole leak, that is so small it could be fixed easily. Suggest hydro-testing it with water before trusting it was compressed air. I never used it, myself.
