Hi folks. I have a wee project on the go that requires an old school PS/2 keyboard (type with a round plug). If I could get a compact one that would be even better, but anything will do. Thanks in advance Glenn

Laptops (Carrickfergus)
Gifted
Due to the kindness of Freegle folks giving me more laptops to fix and upgrade I have 2 that are surplus to requirements. Both well used, but in good condition. 1 Toshiba 1 Dell Both circa 2009, 4Gb RAM, 120Gb HDD. Fresh installs of Linux Mint with Chromium web browser (more or less the same as Chrome). Power supplies included. Each one has minor issues... Toshiba - power jack is loose and battery is dead so could cut out completely. Power supply isn't original so might need one with a longer jack. Dell - right-click touchpad button is dead so needs a mouse or you can change the touchpad settings to emulate the button. Keyboard was temperamental, but seems to be working okay now. Basically Chromebook+ performance. If you get in touch please tell me which one you want and how it will help you out. Glenn.

USB Power Bank (Carrickfergus)
Gifted
I made this one up from obsolete laptop batteries, tested and upcycled. 7-cell pack with a capacity of roughly 20,000mAh and a bright torch function. Holds charge for months. I'm making some bigger ones so this has become surplus. Please explain what you want this for if replying.

Early Laptops (286/386) (Carrickfergus)
Expired
Probably a very long shot, but if anyone has an early (1980s, 1990s) laptop lying about I'd be keen to get hold of it to repair for a project I'm working on. Electronics and recycling blog - Thanks, Glenn (Saving the planet one day at a time!)
