Free: Organic removal cartridge (OX10 Cholsey) Overall length about 45 cm, cartridge length 36 cm. Unused and unopened, but long out of date. This was for a laboratory water purifier, but may suit a larger domestic one too. - or for a curious mind to cut open and find out what is in it (activated charcoal is my bet)

Free: sewing machine - needs adjusting (OX10 Cholsey) Expired A modern Singer sewing machine which has gone out of synch. We replaced a broken part and adjusted it and then it worked well for a while, but it keeps slipping out of synchronisation between top and bottom thread. I guess that whichever screw it is, is not tight enough. After opening it and adjusting it umpteen times only for it to slip again, I am now officially fed up and somebody else can have a go. I can explain what you are aiming for.

Free: motors (OX10 Cholsey) Gifted I have at least one, and probably two electric fans where the plastic blades have disintegrated, but the electrics works just fine. So you could see it as a three-speed motor for some other task or combine it with blades from something else. I could also add a speed pedal from a sewing machine for more speed control

Free: Breadmaker for spares/repair (OX10 Cholsey) Gifted It needs a new belt which you can get online. I changed the belt preciously but it broke again. Perhaps I did something wrong when installing it. It had very little use, so the bread tin and mixing paddle are in nearly new condition.
