Clothes washer water supply lines (Scotts Valley by Vine Hill Rd.)
Pair of hot and cold washing machine water supply lines / hoses are available. Length: 6 feet Hot has red markings on it, cold has blue markings on it. Exterior is stainless steel braid, which is great. Still in good condition. We only replaced this pair of hoses because we wanted 8 foot hoses in case the washing machine ever needed to be repaired, there would be more space behind it when it's moved away from the wall. I live in Scotts Valley, and work in Mountain View. If you’re in Scotts Valley or Santa Cruz/Felton/Ben Lomond/et cetera area, we’ll meet at the nearby Starbucks. Because the turnoff from 17 to my house is hard to find, and sketchy once you do find it. That would be the one at: 5600 Scotts Valley Drive in Scotts Valley. If, however, you are anywhere near my commute from Scotts Valley to Mountain View, I should be able to drop off at your location on my way home from work. Or on the way to work if I'm just leaving it on your porch. Wex

Cacoop Cordless Screwdriver parts (Scotts Valley by Vine Hill Rd.)
Hi, thanks for reading this. My Cacoop cordless screwdriver is having a rough time, and could use some parts. I can't just buy a new one, because Cacoop stopped making this model. So if you have the cordless screwdriver shown in the pictures, and it's broken, I would love to have it. Or even if all you have left are some pieces... you may have the parts I can use. Although I live in Scotts Valley, I do work in Mountain View... So I could pick up anywhere from Santa Cruz to south S.F. Bay Area. Wex

Pepper Grinder, battery powered (Scotts Valley by Vine Hill Rd.)
Expired
If you recognize this grinder because you already have an identical one, or a pair, congratulations! You get first dibs. But don't take more than a week to contact me. If you've got a pair, you'll still want this one to replace your salt grinder when that one eventually breaks due to corrosion. (It takes years, maybe decades for it to break due to corrosion.) This pepper grinder works great, I'm only giving it away because the matching salt grinder eventually broke due to corrosion related to the salt. After it broke, we got a new grinder set that does not match this grinder, so this one is just extra and not being used. It's been fully cleaned since it last held pepper. The shiny silver part is plastic, not metal. The clear part is acrylic plastic, not glass. This pepper grinder originally sold at Costco long ago, as part of a salt & pepper grinder set. It's battery powered, takes six AAA size batteries. Rechargeable batteries work fine, and are more economical than replacing with alkaline batteries. Please note, no batteries are being included with this grinder. Holds a decent amount of peppercorns or salt crystals. 8 & 7/16 inches tall. 2 & 7/16 inches diameter at the widest point. The plastic is chipped at the top. (See pictures.) But it's very sturdy, it has fallen on the floor at least once and only got the chip. It still works great, fully functional. Fair offer policy is turned on for this post because preference is being given to anyone who already has one of these and would like a matched set so they have both pepper and salt grinders. Or to anyone who already has a pair, since their salt grinder will eventually stop working due to corrosion and they will need a spare. When I can repost this in a week, I will turn off the fair policy at that time if this grinder is still available. I'll add more pictures at that time as well. I live in Scotts Valley, and work in Mountain View. If you’re in Scotts Valley or Santa Cruz/Felton/Ben Lomond/et cetera area, we’ll meet at the nearby Starbucks. Bag of Purina Beneful dog food (Scotts Valley by Vine Hill Rd.)
Gifted
We bought a small bag of Purina Beneful so the lost dog hanging around our house would not starve while the owner and dog try to find each other. Which more or less happened the next day. So this bag of dog food is mostly full. Purchased less than 2 weeks ago, so it's not stale or anything like that. I live in Scotts Valley, and work in Mountain View. Blue CAT 5 ethernet cable, 174 feet (Scotts Valley by Vine Hill Rd.)
Gifted
I have two lengths of ethernet cable available, totaling 174 feet. If you would like both, take both. But taking just one is fine too, I'm not requiring you to take both just so I can be done with it. If you want both, and you need one RJ45 coupler and have none, let me know and I'll find one for you. Color: Blue Grade: CAT 5 Wire thickness: 24 AWG Length one: 72 feet Length two: 102 feet Both sections have RJ45 jacks on both ends. (If pictures above look like one end is missing the RJ45 jack... I just haven't updated the pictures yet after I crimped the jack on that end.) There are no rips or cuts in the outer sheath, I verified that while putting the cables on the spools. Hammock (Scotts Valley by Vine Hill Rd.)
Gifted
String type hammock. Great for outside summertime naps! Color: Pastel pink and aqua. Length of the middle body-supporting section is about 7 feet. Length between the loops, end to end is about 12 feet, 4 inches. You would want to have a couple trees (or whatever) at least 13 feet apart to suspend the hammock from. The string is some kind of synthetic, so it won't have any issues with mildew or rotting, even if you leave it hung between your trees all year 'round. I'm only getting rid of this hammock because I already have a hammock set up besides this one. Don't be put off by the dark area at one end in the pictures. It's not nearly as dirty as it looks like. That's probably just where dirty shoes were when someone was in the hammock. Does not include any rope to go around your trees. I live in Scotts Valley, and work in Mountain View. If you’re in Scotts Valley or Santa Cruz/Felton/Ben Lomond area, we’ll meet at the nearby Starbucks. Wall mounted heaters, electric (Scotts Valley by Vine Hill Rd.)
Gifted
I have 4 electric heaters (with a few spare parts from a fifth) that were removed when we installed the central heating system. The white cover is 12" by 9 1/4". The black part that goes into the wall is about 10 1/4" by 7 3/4" They can be connected to 120 or 240 volts, either way. Up to you. They have built in thermostats, so leaving them on all the time in the winter is not really an issue, they would just cycle on and off as needed. Even if your home already has central heating, as most do, you could have a heated garage! The possibilities are endless! Let me know. Wex

Older heater / AC thermostat (Scotts Valley by Vine Hill Rd.)
Gifted
This thermostat is an older type, but not so old that the temperature sensor switch is mercury-level based. It simply is from before the Internet-of-Things era started. Meaning, it's not a smart device. But it works (see two pictures with information showing in the display.) Dimensions: 3.75 inches high, 5.5 inches wide. Will stick out from the wall 1 & 5/16 inches. Has standard connections labeled: G, W, Y, RH, RC It's been several years since I've swapped out thermostats... but if I remember right, I think RH and RC are both red wires, one for heat and one for cold. The rest of the wires should be green, white and yellow. Takes two double-A batteries for backup power, so it will not lose its settings in case of power outage. Batteries included. Possible to swap in fresh batteries without losing settings by replacing only one battery at a time. Has instructions for setting & adjusting time & temperature set points, et cetera, inside the front cover, which simply snaps on & off. I live in Scotts Valley, and work in Mountain View. If you’re in Scotts Valley or Santa Cruz/Felton/Ben Lomond area, we’ll meet at the nearby Starbucks. Plastic cauldron for Halloween (Scotts Valley by Vine Hill Rd.)
Gifted
Black plastic cauldron. We purchased this to put a fog machine in, and it works well for that. Or for putting the candy in. But we moved and the new house is really in a forest with the nearest neighbor a quarter mile away. So no trick-or-treaters come to our house, no knows it's there. Now it's just taking up storage space, time to get rid of it. Height is 11 inches. Opening is 11 & 3/4 inches diameter. Outside diameter is 15 & 1/2 inches. It does have a drain hole in the bottom, it will not hold liquids unless you seal the hole with silicone glue or something. I live in Scotts Valley, and work in Mountain View. Computer desk (Scotts Valley by Vine Hill Rd.)
Gifted
This computer desk is made of 3/4 inch plywood on all structural pieces. No fiberboard anywhere. Height: 30 & 1/4 inches Width of top: 37 & 3/4 inches Width below the top: 36 & 1/8 inches Depth: (front to back, that is) 18 & 1/4 inches Shelf and keyboard tray both pull out. The mouse pad on the keyboard tray is glued on, and is less than a millimeter thick. Looks like it came from the factory with the mousepad already on it. Or if it was added later, it was very nicely done. Perfectly aligned and in a good position for the mouse. Although not shown in any of the pictures, it has wheels. 22 drawer / closet handles (Scotts Valley by Vine Hill Rd.)

Giving away 22 closet door handles or drawer pull handles These came off 22 closet doors and drawers. These handles have the hard to find 2 inch wide screw spacing which is often found on older furniture. 4 inch length tip to tip. Comes with screws in 2 lengths, long and short so you have options for wood thickness where you install them. There are 44 of the longer screws, enough for all the handles. We are missing 2 of the shorter screws, just 42 of those. But you can always cut 2 of the longer screws down to the right length if you need to use all 22 handles. For a limited time, available individually bagged and packed in a lovely LondonTown box! I live in Scotts Valley, and work in Mountain View. New & unused water softener resin (Scotts Valley by Vine Hill Rd.)
Gifted
If this post is not marked as gifted, it's still available. Even if it's 89 days old! New and unused water softener resin. 10% cross-linked. (That's the good type!) Color: Very dark brown or black. Our water softener needed 0.83 cubic feet, so there is 0.17 cubic feet remaining for anyone to have if you can use it. One picture is the original bag the resin came in. The other picture is the remaining .17 cubic feet in a clear plastic bag, which is inside the original bag. Feel free to call or text me at: (925) 325-6517 Hope someone can use it... maybe if it's combined with a half cubic foot bag, it might be the right amount for your softener. Other ideas: It could be added to paint to make a non-skid surface! Wex
