Offers prioritised to people living within a 1 mile radius of me. Yellow flag iris, Iris pseudacorus, is a vigorous native water iris Elegant, yellow flowers appear in late-spring. Height: 1.2m Spread: 1m Hardy Ideal for wildlife gardens Happy in semi shade; prefers full sun Needs Boggy / Clay / Heavy / Moist Yellow flag are beautiful but can take over a small pond, so although you can just scatter a few seeds into pond they might be best planted in a pond pot to keep them under control. Or plant the seeds in the boggy margins. If they starts taking over, divide rhizomes every 3 years or so and Freegle the spares :-) If you don’t have a wildlife pond it is incredibly easy and very rewarding. The wildlife will soon move in.

With many thanks and warmest wishes, Susan Free: Lazy lava lamp - not really swirling now (Gleneagles area, Wboro NN8) Gifted 91d - Lava lamps - bulb works but the lamp hasn’t been used for so long I don’t think the wax mixture will swirl properly again. I’d prefer it to go to someone who might be able to replace the wax mixture or who would be happy to use the lamp on its own rather than be disappointed by it not working. The photo makes it look a little better than it does in real life.
