I don’t think this was ever used. It was passed on to me last year from a family moving and it worked perfectly!! It was just sitting for a year and the batteries rusted inside. I took them out and it looks simple enough to replace the battery house or the contacts or whatever (and I was told that) but I’m not mechanical like that.
