On offer is good quality hard core. Not like other stuff that is just broken bricks etc. This is dug up from under an old patio plus new crushed concrete, sand, some stones and scalpings - I’d say it’s the perfect mix. Ignore the lumps of concrete in the photo you are not asked to take these away unless of course you want them. Come and take as much as you need, you don’t need to take it all. 3kW wall mounting electric space heater (Kingsclere RG20)

This is a Dimplex QXD 3kW electric space heater. It is new old stock I was given for use in my garage BUT please look at the minimum distance requirements shown in the photo. This unit is way too hot for what I wanted it for. So please be careful if you choose to use it. It came with a broken element and a spare which I have fitted. I have NOT tested it in anyway. You must get it installed by a competent electrician who can earth it correctly and make sure that the cable supplying it is sufficiently large to take the high current load it will draw. That said it is new and unused so should work. It comes in its original packaging with full instructions and includes the wall bracket to allow it to be angled correctly, etc. Collection is from Kingsclere.

As you can see in the photos it is faded blue but still works well. There is a pulley system to erect the umbrella from inside it with a pin to secure it in the up position. The pole separates into two sections with a screw joint. Its diameter is approx 2.6m and is approx 2.5m tall. Collection is from Kingsclere.

Old laboratory workbench (Kingsclere RG20)

On offer is an old laboratory workbench. Steel frame with a wooden/formica style top. The top has various holes where machinery was bolted to it but could easily be replaced with new wood. There is a metal trunking on top for sockets if you wish to fit them. The whole thing is rather tatty but would still make a useful workbench. There is one foot missing but this can be overcome easily. Dimensions: Length: 153cm Depth: 77cm Table top height: approx 84cm but there is adjustment in the feet. Trunking sits an extra 10cm on top of the work surface. Quite heavy so make sure you are fit and able to lift a decent weight (bring a friend if possible). Collection is from Kingsclere and best for us at weekends or evenings.

On offer is what was described to me as a table for mobile disco equipment. It has a felt top with aluminium edging. In a used condition - photos show some dried paint etc on it. The legs fold away underneath for easy transport. I think it would be good for a stall holder at car boot sales or someone who does flower arranging displays or whatever. Table top is 122.5cm by 76.5cm. Overall height is 72cm. Collection is from Kingsclere.

On offer is an old RECORD No 3 bench vice. It works fine but does stick a bit when loosening the jaws to remove something and then they spring apart. Maybe a good strip down and service will cure this. Vice will be removed from the bench before collection. Collection is from Kingsclere and weekends and evenings best for us.

On offer is an old portable gas fire which comes with a regulator and gas bottle, although I think the gas bottle doesn’t have much, if any, left in it. When last used some years ago it worked fine. But it’s now covered in dust so will need a good clean. This is not recommended for use inside a house or enclosed area as I don’t know what the situation is with carbon monoxide gases etc. It is the responsibility of the person receiving this to decide how safe it is to use. As can be seen in the pictures its a set of a two seater and two one seaters all with seat and back cushions. Also there is a glass topped coffee table with two small seats (with seat cushions) that slide under it. BUT the Ratan on top of the coffee (beneath the glass) has become brittle and is coming apart (see last photo). Each seat comes apart with screws (two sides, seat and a back pieces), so you'll need a large car with possibly two or more trips. Collection is from Kingsclere.

On offer is a used JosephJoseph kitchen towel roll holder. It is not in perfect condition but works perfectly and might help someone moving into their first home maybe. It is heavy and the centre paddle is sprung loaded and works great for pulling off a sheet of the roll one handed. The green plastic strip is slightly damaged at the bottom but this doesn't affect the way it works. Collection is from Kingsclere and evenings or weekends preferred.
