Request: Wide-necked Glass Coffee/similar jar (Weston Favell village area) Received I'm looking for a jar or two similar to this old coffee jar, please. This one's already busy making Sauerkraut, now I'm planning on trying Kefir too. The one shown is around 18-19 cm tall. I can collect if in or around Northampton. Many thanks.

Free: Central Heating Pump, Grundfoss (Weston Favell village area) Gifted Grundfoss Type UPS 15-50 130 c/h pump taken off our system during an upgrade some years ago. *** PLEASE NOTE - I honestly can't remember how well it was working at the time, and have no way of testing, so no promises whatever! I'm offering it here before sending it to scrap, in case anyone wishes to try it. To be collected, please; we're near Bridgewater Drive, Abi Park area.

Free: Kitchen Worktops, unused. One long piece, one short. (Weston Favell village area) Gifted Two lengths of good quality kitchen worktop, the bigger one at just over 260cm x 66.5cm x 4cm thick. Pattern as in the pics. Both were bought as part of our kitchen renovation around 15 years ago. The longer one has a damaged end of surface layer at the edge of one end - see photo - but there's still over 2.5 metres of perfectly good stuff. The builders realised one had been supplied the wrong size, so it was replaced and we were left with this length, along with a smaller piece which had cuts for pipes etc in the wrong places. The smaller one's just under 105cm but as you'll see from the last two photos, has cuts in it. After thinking "these might come in useful some time" for 15 years we need the space! They've been stored in the dry, resting on bits of wood in our garage. NB The longer one won't fit in the average car. Please collect from near Abington Park.

Free: Man's Bicycle, Muddy Fox, 21 gears, nr Abington Park (Weston Favell village area) Gifted "Muddy Fox" bike, bought 2nd hand in 1990's, then health issues meant I stopped riding it. It's sat for about 20 years with good intentions but no maintenance, so will almost certainly need new tyres, otherwise a clean-up and lubrication will hopefully see it running well again. The previous owner had fitted narrow road wheels and tyres, I liked them, other options may be possible. It also has two pannier bags which clip on, seen in last photo. It's from before the era of suspension forks, but with its 21 gears and toe traps (which could be removed if you prefer) it used to go very well indeed, and was very comfortable to ride. I need to clear garage space - quick collection appreciated.

Request: Saucepan+lid, 8 or 9" (20-23cm) for dishcloth boiling (Weston Favell village area) Expired We're seeking a saucepan to boil up dishcloths, please. Could be anything from stainless steel to non-stick or aluminium via slightly chipped enamel, as long as it's clean, the lid fits well and the handle's safely firm. Approx 8 - 9 inches, 20-23cm would be ideal .... That one which maybe you don't like the colour or pattern so never use :-) We're near Abington Park, and I can collect. With many thanks.
Request: A block or stump for chopping wood (Weston Favell village area) Received I'm seeking either a block, or a decent sized slice through a felled tree / branch, please, to use as a chopping block. Around 16" or 40cm min. diameter would be useful - something like the sample image I borrowed from the Net here. Much less would be too small. As long as it's not too heavy to pick up, I can collect in our car. Ideally, one with enough height to it so I don't need to bend right down each time I work on it would be kind to my back :-) Thanks for looking, thanks for any offers.

Free: 2 Black Rubber fender strips (Weston Favell village area) Expired Two rubber fender strips. One heavy solid one, (known as a Lorry fender, apparently), with metal fastening strip down the middle, 1m long; One lighter "double ended P" profile, 2 m long. Other dimensions as in photos. I bought them hoping they'd fit a repair job, both were heavier than needed, so stayed unused. The "double P" strip is apparently almost the very end of the line, and it's now very hard to find in this country. To be collected from near Abington Park, off Bridgewater Dr. Thanks for looking, and hopefully they're just what someone needs for their own repair job - they weren't cheap, which adds to my reluctance to sling them!

Request: Computer flatscreen monitor, either to loan or to pass on. (Weston Favell village area) Expired I'm looking for a spare computer monitor just for a week or so, (I hope!) while I transfer stuff from this ancient desktop to a newer but still 2nd hand desktop, so I can see what I'm doing on both machines without having to plug and unplug all the time. (Note, this sounds a lot more laid-back and casual than I feel about such a daunting task...) When it's done and we're up and running , (fingers crossed about that!) I'll happily re-Freegle. I can collect, but live near Abington Park. Thanks kindly for any useful offers.
