Free: CD rewritable (Mickleover DE3) I just have one rewritable Sony CD-R. It seems a shame to bin it as someone might like to have it.
Request: Cat scratcher post (Mickleover DE3) My cat has wrecked all of the furniture and now, after ignoring it for years, has just about wrecked the scratching post! If anyone has one going spare I would be extremely grateful.
Free: Tray cloths (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Does anyone still use these when people visit for a cup of tea or what have you? I have four. I don’t think they have ever been used, certainly not from the look of them. Three are rectangular, one is oval, and they are all quite pretty. They are all embroidered, I would say machine embroidered.
Free: Bread Knife (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Prestige bread knife, not for resale. Only available to over 18s. If you could appear to be under 18 years old please bring id to check on pick up
Free: Black & Decker (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Electric screwdriver, it didn't work when I tried it but might not be much wrong, BUT there are numerous screwdriver bits - if that's what the screw heads are called - which could be very useful.
Free: screwdriver set (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Draper "precision tool set". 6 screwdrivers from3.8mm (small) down to .8mm (very small), the box is broken but could quite easily be made ok.
Free: Knives and a couple of pickle spoons (Mickleover DE3) Expired Two grapefruit knives and three cheese knives plus another hard to describe. It takes slices off a wedge of cheese. The two pickle spoons (different sizes) have the bowls at right angles to the stem and the top of the stems are curved so that they can hang from a jar.
Free: A number of bricks (Mickleover DE3) Expired These are from dismantling an old BBQ, would be suitable for hard core etc.
Free: Small cheese board and ice cream/potato scoop (Mickleover DE3) Expired Cheese board is approx. 6 x 9 inches and has a knife with it although I don’t think it’s the original knife. Not much to say about the scoop, it’s design is of the original type and it has a yellow handle.
Free: Cafetiere (Mickleover DE3) Gifted It claims to be for up to 8 cups but that would have to be small cups as capacity is about 1L. I still have the assembly etc. instructions if required.
Free: Salad spinner (Mickleover DE3) Expired Used but like new. 23cm diameter, 11cm high.
Free: Steamer (Mickleover DE3) Expired As far as I know this has never been used. It would sit on pans from 6” to 8” diameter.
Free: Trouser/skirt hangers (Mickleover DE3) Expired The sort that get smaller to fit the garment. Unfortunately they now get far too small for me!
Free: Coffee maker (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Filter coffee machine, still got instructions. Goes up to 12 cups on the gauge but I would say the maximum is 6 mugs. Also the remains of a bag of Tesco Italian fresh ground coffee and of an espresso coffee - both years out of date but I have tried them both this week, and I’m still here!
Free: Rucksack (Mickleover DE3) Expired 25 litre , mainly black. Numerous pockets, zip is broken on one pocket but it’s not a vitally important pocket.
Request: Recipe holder (Mickleover DE3) Expired I would be very grateful if anyone has a recipe holder to gift, the sort that sits on a worktop.
Free: Artificial flowers (Mickleover DE3) Expired Bunch of daffodils, all connected onto a single stem.
Free: Brown lLeather bridge case (Mickleover DE3) Expired This leather case contains two packs of cards, a scoring pad and pencil plus a card giving details of how to score. The pad is partly used but more than half left. It is, I think rather nice but I’m not a bridge player. Not for resale.
Free: Tankini (Mickleover DE3) Gifted M & S , black, size 14. Never worn. Not for resale.
Free: Postcards (Mickleover DE3) Expired Quite a good few, nothing especially remarkable about them but I think they are always interesting.
Free: Button box (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Like my grandmother and my mother before me I have a button box. But I have decided I won’t be using it ever again. I don’t want to throw it in the bin as in the past I have seen requests for buttons on Freegle. Has anyone got a use for it?
Free: Very old but very unusual cigarette box and lighter (Mickleover DE3) Gifted I would guess that they are made of some sort of acrylic and decorations are inside the material - various small shells and sea horses. The lighter is the old petrol type and I’ve not bothered to have it working for years. I still like them but my very naughty puss keeps knocking them off the sill and I’ve had enough!
Free: Various travel items (Mickleover DE3) Expired Almost a full 200ml tube of travel wash Canister of deet-free insect repellent 4 travel plugs, including one for South Africa (well it was the last time I visited!) I also have a pair of beach shoes, great for if the beach or sea bed is pebbly. I can’t find a size but I am usually English size 6. An electric cup water heater which we used a lot for making tea/coffee. Fill the cup, put the element in and switch on. An electric mosquito killer but that does need an adapter as it is two pin. Put the tablet in (I also have quite a few of those) and plug in. I also have another couple of adaptors which say are for use with non-earthed appliances only. There may be more when I finish clearing out the “holiday draw”).
Free: They are called cable cuffs (Mickleover DE3) Expired I have never used them but they could be very useful. Basically if you have a lot of cables, say from a PC etc, all of them can be threaded through the cuff which can then be tightened to keep them tidy.
Free: Playing cards (Mickleover DE3) Expired Two packs of playing cards.
Free: Printer (Mickleover DE3) Expired Canon pixma MG5750. It suddenly stopped working, don't know why (am not technically very good) but someone may be able to sort it out!
Free: Sudoku (Mickleover DE3) Expired Book titled “75th Birthday Sudoku big print puzzles”. There are 150 puzzles, and I have done 48 of them
Free: Christmas LP, plus two others (Mickleover DE3) Gifted Christmas is getting closer, best be prepared! I have a very nice LP Christmas Carols from Exeter Cathedral, with all of the favourites. I also have two copies of the LP of the sound track of South Pacific, a lovely film - I saw it 5 times back in the day! Is anyone interested? I have freegled my Music Centre so have no longer any means of playing them.
Free: Water heater (Mickleover DE3) Expired This is an electric heater which we used for years when on holiday. It is an element which goes into a cup/mug of water - or whatever - and is then plugged in. You do of course need a plug for the country you are in as well.
Free: Mosquito deterrent (Mickleover DE3) Expired This plugs into the wall, or wherever, it is a two pin plug which presumably fits in quite a few countries as we used it a lot. There are a good number of the tablets that you insert, the idea being that mosquitoes don’t like it when heated. On the pack it says “contains bioallethrin”. I don’t what this is but somebody might!
