I have an elderly VAX vaccum cleaner which also shampoos. When I tried to use it recently it tripped both of the electricity circuit in the house on two separate occasions. I haven't tried using it as a vaccum cleaner, without any water in it. It is offered for spares unless you have the skill to assess and repair it properly.
