Request: Books - moden paperbacks etc (Newhaven BN9) Hi. We have a book cabinet on our driveway as a community service to provide a free book exchange / free books. We've been doing it since Covid, and it's well use. A while ago, someone took all of our books, and we'd like to restock. If you have any fiction in decent condition that you don't want, please consider dropping it off for the green cabinet - it's on 4 Valley Road, Newhaven, BN9 9XA. Children's books are also welcome. Of course, if you're a reader, and are looking for books to read, feel free to take from the cabinet too! Please don't dump or leave old books that people are unlikely to read ;=) Thanks

Free: Grapes for wine making? (Newhaven BN9) Expired Our grape vine has produced a good crop, but they are small and seeded so probably better for wine. Come and pick as much as you want.

Free: large executive desk (Newhaven BN9) Gifted Very large executive desk - was given to me, but is too big for my office. I don't have measurements, as it is now dismantled, Will need a van to collect. leather topped, solid brass handles and locks. One drawer is locked, but has no key. Comes from a smoke free home. Preference given to speedy collection. Thanks

Free: Photographic tent and backdrops (Newhaven BN9) Gifted Pop up photo light tent. Has some coloured backdrop sheets. Should fold up onto the bag, but haven't been able to get it back.in. has been stored for a while so has some marks and could use a watch

Free: Sleeper couch (Newhaven BN9) Gifted Lovely sleeper couch, really solidly made, and is quite comfortable. Some small marks on fabric - should wash off. Preference given to the first who can collect. It does separate into sections, which makes it easier to carry - it is heavy. It will fit into a large car.

Free: Antique Victorian sofa - recovering project (Newhaven BN9) Expired Beautiful victorian sofa in need of recovering. The structure is sound, as is the upholstery, but the covers are stained, and it will need to be recovered This is a large and heavy item. Priority given to the first to collect.
