Even keeps the rice warm when it has finished cooking. Makes 12 cups of rice—enough for 12 people—but can be used for as little as four cups. Can also be used for cooking stews, etc. In perfect working condition, but we've had it for years, so it's a bit beaten up, and the non-stick coating inside is badly worn. Free: Shelf unit (Emsworth PO10) Gifted This sturdy four-shelf unit has been very useful in a garden shed—but we don't have a garden shed any more, so it has to go. Overall it stands 150 cm high, and the shelves are 160 cm long by 30 cm wide. The structure is two coated steel ladder pieces, with the four composite shelves bolted to them. We had to shorten the shelves to fit, which is why you can see the insides of the shelf material in the end shown in the photo. The heavy load we put on the shelves made them bend after a few years, so I turned them over—this is why you can see the screw holes in the top surface. They are not pretty, but they can hold a huge amount of stuff. They are currently in a storage container near Funtington. If you want them it would make sense for me to meet you there, to load straight onto your vehicle. If you can't take the assembled unit I can easily unbolt the shelves to turn it into a flat pack. It is really good quality, has worn incredibly well, and is still perfectly serviceable. A bit scruffy, but this is largely superficial—it would probably benefit from a good wash. (It is machine washable, if you have a big enough machine.) You can see from the photos how good the colours still are. Free: Table lamps x 2 (Emsworth PO10) Expired Two small Ikea lamps, suitable for bedside table or desk. One is black, the other translucent. They are low voltage, with the power unit in the base of the lamps, so they plug in to a normal mains socket. They both work but the black one has an intermittent connection between the power unit and the lamp head (like many 12v lights the power to the lamp runs along the supporting arms—there are no wires—and the arms could do with a clean to fix the connection). Free: Antique polo sticks x 2 (Emsworth PO10) Gifted No idea if these will be of any interest to anyone: a couple of ancient polo sticks, dating from 45 years ago. One has a bespoke towelling grip, but has leaked some sort of black adhesive from the joint between shaft and head, where it has been stored in a very hot container. The other is actually unused: it was a parting gift from the SIngapore Polo Club when I left in 1979. The head was painted pink, though the paint is now flaking off. Props perhaps? Free: Sculpture (Emsworth PO10) Gifted The daughter bought this Giacometti-style sculpture from a friend at school whom she thought might become a famous artist. 12 years on that hasn't happened, and the time has come to pass it on. It's 68 cm high, made of plaster, and painted bronze colour. A little chipped in a couple of places—nothing a bit of paint retouching won't cover up. I thought someone might like it for a bit of fun. Free: Timber fencing and cladding offcuts (Emsworth PO10) Gifted I have a selection of pieces of larch timber with shadow-gap profile, left over from putting up a fence, and cladding a garden room. The fence timber is 150mm wide by 22mm thick. These are the two stacks in the photo next to the wall. The pieces range in length from 60cm to 170cm. The cladding timber is higher quality, and is 117mm wide by 18mm thick. This is the other stack in the photo. Most these pieces are 90cm long. Free: Engineered wood floor boards (Emsworth PO10) Gifted Left over from laying a new floor. These boards are brand new—six of them are still in their original pack. They are engineered oak. Studley Corn is the type, if you want to look it up on the Luxury Flooring website: I have nine boards, 1900mm long by 190mm wide, and 14mm thick.
