Request: Items of furniture for refugee family (St Just TR19) Expired - We are expecting a refugee family to stay with us, probably arriving within the next two weeks. We have their accommodation quite well furnished and equipped, thanks in part to generous freeglers. We are still a little short of storage and would be grateful if any of you could help with the following... Chests of drawers not more than 60 cm high to fit in the eaves . We could also fit in one tall chest of drawers or tall boy no more than 70cm wide. To make the place more welcoming, two or three small comfortable armchairs, (both size and comfort are important), would be the final touch as the chairs we have are not great. Thank you all who have offered help already, we are nearly there. No replies yet. Chris Free: Music cassettes (St Just TR19) Gifted - I have a large number, hundreds probably, of audio cassette tapes. I will weed out the home made recordings which will still leave a large quantity of professionally published recordings. These are largely popular music of the 50s to the 80s, also opera, orchestral, folk, jazz and a little bit of most things. If anyone would like to claim these, please let me know. I would prefer to see them go en masse if possible. It will take a few days to weed out the homemade and damaged tapes before passing on the remainder. I hope somebody will take them so I do not need to dump the whole lot.
