Free: Muscari bulb (Ashfield CA14) Gifted 2d - I have just had to dig up a large quantity of Muscari bulbs (grape hyacinth). If they are left to dry and the leaves die back they will be ready for planting later in the summer and will flower March April next year. They CAN be planted now if preferred. but the greenery should be left on. You can have the whole lot or just take some.

Free: Shillies/large gravel (Ashfield CA14) 5d - I am removing 15mm shillies (large gravel) from some of my flower borders. It is spread over a weed suppressor. I will have to dispose of them somehow, but if anyone would like all of it or just a bag or two you are more than welcome to come and get it. You would have to shovel it up into bags yourself, but I can LEND you some bags though I would need them back asap. Let me know if you are interested and when you would want to come.

Request: insulation (Ashfield CA14) Received 37d - I need to insulate a small cavity 25cm high x 240cm long over my garage door. I can use any off cuts even small pieces. Even if you don't have enough for the job I could poss get more from others. So please get in touch if you have ANY.. Free: Bag of essential oils (Ashfield CA14) Gifted 150d - I selection of essential oils ideal for diffusers and air fresheners. Inc Clary Sage, Patchouli and Cedarwood along with others. Free: Light wood effect wardrobe with mirror (Egremont CA22) Expired 261d - This wardrobe was dismantled to get it down the stairs but not the charity won't take it because it is dismantled. I don't have a photo of it. It comes complete with fixings and assembling instruction. There are two drawers at the bottom. Two doors one has a mirror. It should all go in an estate or longer car. Erected it's 1974H x 914W x 640D. It came from Focus and they came It the Oxford wardrobe

Free: Dining chairs (Egremont CA22) Expired 261d - 2 Wooden dining chairs with black padded seat. No fire certificate as manufactured pre certificate requirement.

Free: Set of 4 dining chairs (Egremont CA22) Expired 261d - These four chairs have no fire certificates as they were reupholstered in the 1980's. In good condition. At present 2 are at my home in Workington and 2 in Egremont. Can be seen at either location.

Free: gardening stuff (Ashfield CA14) Gifted 359d - I have a selection of old gardening tools includinga rake, lawn rake tree loppers, shears, fork, spade and other smaller items. Strimmer (but I don't kow if it works and it has not been PAT. The tools are rusty but have been used until this winter so should clean up ok. Shears etc may need sharpening. Prefer they go as job lot. Free: Rooted Christmas Tree (Ashfield CA14) Gifted 359d - I have been growing a christmas tree since it was 6" high. Its now 4ft plus the root system. It badly needs taking out of the pot and planting somewhere but I have no where for it. If you can take a lovely tree that wil enhance your garden and look great decorated at Christmas please contact me.. I am sorry the pot doesn't come with it.

Free: Small drawer unit (Ashfield CA14) Gifted 1y - Small dark wood drawer unit. Two drawers plus pull out glass shelf. Approx 18" x 18" x 23" high. Ideal for living room or bedroom. Must go before Easter

Request: electric uplifter chair (Ashfield CA14) Expired 1y - A frail elderly lady urgently needs an electric uplighter chair so she can come home from hospital. Please can anyone help? She can even swap for a normal recliner and matching 2 seater settee if that helps anyone. But can't part with them unless she has the uplifter so we are not offering it separately here.. Free: Trolley style walker (Ashfield CA14) Expired 1y - This wheeled trolley belonged to my mother. She found it invaluable to use as a walker round the house as it meant she also had her hands free (unlike a zimmer frame) when taking things around the place such as her dinner. She also used it as a table to eat from. It can be used as a trolley for any other non disability purpose of course. I have also seen one used as a plant pot holder for hanging plants in a garden. Sadly charity shops don't want it and so it is heading to the tip. Frustrating as nothing wrong with it.

Free: carry on suitcase (Ashfield CA14) Gifted 1y - This carry on size suitcase is blue/black and has 3 external zip pockets and one internal one. It is on wheels but also has straps at the back so it can be carried as a back pack. In very good condition, all zips work fine. It is sturdy enough to used in the hold of a plane but small enough to use as cabin luggage.

Free: Single electric bed (Ashfield CA14) Expired 1y - This single bed still works great but the divan sides are stained so the charity shops don't want it and we don't feel we can sell it. The base could be covered with a simple valance. It MAY clean up anyway. The mattress is only a couple of years old and is memory foam. No major stains anyway. It is a very comfy bed. Seems a pity to take it to tip. The mattress cover totally unzips and can be washed. The headboard seems to be unmarked. It must go in the coming week or it goes to the tip as we have no where to store it. We know a small business that will deliver but they DO charge you, so collecting it yourself would be better for you. It is in Cockermouth. I haven't been able to download the photos so far but have them on whatsapp. Request: Single 3ft bed mattress (Ashfield CA14) Received 1y - URGENTLY WANTED. My mum age 99 needs a single mattress URGENTLY. The NHS have taken back the special mattress they gave her as she no longer needs it but it has left her with a single bed and no mattress. She had to take the one off the spare bed for her own use but it means no one can sleep over if she has a problem Can any one help please.? Free: Recliner settee (Ashfield CA14) Gifted 1y - 2 seater manual recliner settee, made by Celebrity. Terracotta coloured fabric. Old but in usable condition with no damage to the fabric. I am only parting with it as I now have a 3 seater that better suits my current needs. I had it professionally cleaned a month or so ago. It is fire certificated.

Free: Light fittings (Ashfield CA14) Expired 1y - A pair of matching light fittings. For collection next week. Can be seen in situ at present. Working and undamaged. Three lights on each fitting. Complete with LED bulbs.

Free: Jigsaw table (Ashfield CA14) Expired 1y - Old jigsaw table. Needs a couple of repairs to be "as good as new" but is still usable as is.

Request: 3ft pine bed (Ashfield CA14) Received 1y - I urgently need a 3ft pine bed so i can sleep over at my elderly mothers home while she is poorly. We have a good mattress so it is only the base that is needed. We can't get a divan in the car so it has to be a pine slat type. Can anyone help please? Free: double bed and 2 x double matresses (Ashfield CA14) Gifted 1y - This bed is ready dismantled for transport so any photo would not show it properly. It has a white head board and a mix of wood and metal frame. It was bought from IKEA 6 years ago but it was always in the spare room and only slept on about 12 times. This is being offered as we have had TWO different people fail to turn up. But it needs to go urgently as we need the space for a single bed. I offered it to BHF but they cannot collect for a week or so, and that is too long. If you can take it this weekend its yours. On a first-come basis. Pick up from Cockermouth

Free: Toilet seat and cover (Ashfield CA14) Gifted 1y - White toilet seat. Nearly new. Only fitted for a couple of weeks. I bought the wrong size for my loo. There is a blue stain on the underside of the seat. This was caused by a splash of cleaning fluid. Other than that the toilet is unmarked, Perfectly hygenic and ready to fit. Size from back to front of actual seat (excluding fittings) is 40cm.
