Free: Navy half-zip 'jumper' size 12 Girlguiding (or not) (Cheadle Hulme SK8) This is a navy, long-sleeved, Girlguiding top with a paler blue collar, it has a short zip at the neck. Although it was originally bought as a Girlguiding top to wear at Rainbows, Brownies and Guides, it could be just used as a jumper - it's in good condition. If you wanted it as a Girlguiding top, it has the 'old' logo on it, but this could likely be covered by a badge. It is too big for me now, especially as it's a baggy fit, which is why I'm Freegling it. If you've anyay questions, please ask. Free: Two bags of foam noodles / chips for packing (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted These are white foam noodles/chips that were used as packaging protection for items we bought online. We don't need them but they could be re-used by someone else if they're sending parcels, or moving house, or want to make a 'bean bag' seat etc etc I've put them in 2 large bags, and the noodles/chips are each about 2 inches long. Free: A large mirror (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted This is a large mirror with a white painted frame (satin finish) measuring 35inches wide by 25inches high. The frame is just over 2.5 inches deep (see photo 2). There is a small knot on the right hand side back edge of the frame which shows as a small blemish (see photo 3). Free: 3 x lengths of Aluminium door brush draft excluder (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Expired These are 3 identical lengths of brush draught proofing strips supplied with a wooden door I bought, but I didn't need to use them. They are each 33 inches long and have 4 screws supplied with each length. The fixing strips are possibly Aluminium with 4 pre-drilled holes to attach each to a door or something similar, and have a length of black brush to help stop drafts. Free: Assorted light bulbs - new and part-used (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted This is a box of assorted light bulbs as we have had a lot of our lights replaced recently. They are a mixture of tungsten and halogen bulbs , some have been used and the rest are new. Free: 7 clips to attach plinth to kitchen unit legs (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted These are 7 x black plastic clips used to attach a length(s) of plinth to the legs of kitchen base units. Free: 28mm diameter curtain pole brackets and one finial (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted I have finally had all my curtain poles fitted and have been left with one pair of brackets and one finial (no poles as they have all been used). They are to fit a 28mm diameter pole and the finail is a satin silver effect aspect finial. They were bought a long time ago from Terry's Fabrics that used to be near Morrisons at Cheadle Heath. Free: Chinon movie camera plus accessories & a Movie Lite (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted This is a Chinon Master 8mm Movie camera in it's carry case, with instruction and some accessories. Also being offered is a 375 Movie Lite and ONE lamp (not 2 as required) which is "a compact unit for direct or bounce cine lighting". Please look at the photo's for additional information. These are (I think) the last of my Grandads cine items that I am trying to find a good home for, somewhere they will be treasured. I don't know what works and what doesn't but hopefully, if someone is interested, they may have knowledge in getting things working if needed. In case these are popular items and I start getting lots of replies, I will wait a couple of days to give a chance for people to see this posting, then put all the names in a hat and pull out at random the person I will contact - it seems to be the fairest way of doing things. Free: 75 empty little bottles to craft into fairy houses etc (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted These are 75 empty and clean little Ensure Compact bottles which could be re-used and decorated by children into little fairy houses, penguins, snowmen, chicks or anything else that captures the imagination:-) They could be used to keep pocket money in, or small gift, mini-eggs. It just seems a shame for them to go to landfill when they could be used for craft activities. Please let me know if you are interested in them, they are so cute and only 3.5 inches tall.

Free: Walz Movie Editor and a Spicomatic (very old) (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted This is a Walz Movie Editor and a Splicomatic, used by my Grandad 'back in the day' to help him make his cine films. The Movie Maker, together with the Splicomatic, were used to accurately edit and splice the film together. I have plugged in the Movie Maker, switched it on and the light still works!! The original paint on the Splicomatic is flaking off with age, please see photo. I am hoping to find a good home for these items. Free: Prinz Magnon 800ZR 8mm projector (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted This is a Prinz Magnon 800ZR push button controlled automatic film threading compact zoom 8mm projector, in it's original box. I have stored it for years and years, it belonged to my Grandad. I would dearly like it to go to a good home. There aren't any reels with it but it appears to work, the spools turn when it is switched on. It has an instruction booklet with it. Free: Lovely red & green leaved plant in white ceramic plant pot (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted This is a lovely plant that we've had for years but, since having plantation shutters installed, it doesn't fit on the windowsill anymore and there's no-where else for it to go, so it's looking for a new, loving home. I don't know what it is but it's currently flowering and has a few new shoots growing. It measures 27inches high from the table to the top of the plant. It's in a large white ceramic plant pot (which is included), which is 9inches high. Free: Heat reflective adhesive aluminium sheet 100x60cm (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Expired This should have been used when my dishwasher was installed, by sticking it to the underside of the worktop so it would reflect any heat generated by the dishwasher when it was being used and protect the worktop. Unfortunatley it wasn't fitted (and can't easily be retrofitted) so if it could be used by anyone else, for anything that needs heat reflecting from it, please reply to this. Free: Sony Surround Sound system (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted This is a Sony DAR-RD100 DVD Recorder Dolby Pro-logic II Home Theatre System, comprising of DVD recorder/player, four 120w surround-sound speakers, 120w centre speech speaker and a powerful 120w sub-woofer. It comes complete with all interconnecting cables and a comprehensive remote control. It can connect to your TV in three ways (Scart, Video S, or 3-way Jackplugs) but not HDMI. A scart lead is included. You can play and record DVDs and CDs. If you still have an old VCR, you can connect that as well. For audio lovers, it has an AM and FM Radio (Internal Aerial leads included) and you can connect a record deck providing it has a pre-amp built in. The basic hook-up instruction leaflet is included, and an electronic version of the full set-up and operating instructions is available. Free: Slimline water butt and stand (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted This is a green slimline water butt (slightly faded from the sun) with it's black stand. Likely it's got 100litre capacity. This water butt was adapted by us to a water down pipe at the end of some guttering we'd put on our garden shed, which went straight into the butt, then we made an overflow and attached a piece copper pipe so we could funnel the surplus water through the fence into our front garden. So there is a hole in the lid where the down pipe entered, and hole at the top of the butt where we'd made the make-shift overflow. We are also offering some spare parts of a rainwater diverter kit - the flexible hose and the tank connector, but I'm afraid we haven't got the actual rainwater diverter that would attach to a down pipe. Ideally I would like this water butt collecting today so, if you'd like to be considered for it, please reply and include a contact number so we can arrange collection more easily. Free: 7.5kg (approx) ready mixed white plaster in a tub (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted Hi, we bought a 10kg tub of Volden ready mixed compound the other day to do some plastering, but only needed to use about a quarter of it, so approx 7.5kg is leftover. Free: Old but still working Bosch hand held hedgetrimmer (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted This is a well used, but still working, Bosch cordless shrub shear, still in it's tin, with instructions, blade sheath and charger. It runs for about 30mins, although a bit slower at cutting than it used to be. It's still a great aid to the gardening if you only have a small trimming job to do. Free: 5 x Peace lillies - they've just been split and repotted (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted I have just split and repotted my lovely Peace lily indoor plant, despite having flowers on (internet advice said it was ok to split in the Spring), and it desperately needed doing. I have split off 5 new pots of Peace lilies, two of them with flowers. There are 2 small pots, a medium and 2 larger. Although the photo's were taken in the garden as that was where I split them off from the main lily that I'm keeping, they are indoor plants. I bought John Innes No. 3 for mature plants so they have either been potted in the original soil, or the compost or a mixture of both, but I didn't quite have enough!! Also I only had a few plant pots which weren't necessarily the correct size(mainly not tall enough) so they need a loving home where they can be checked over and possibly some re-potted. Ideally I would like one person to collect them all and maybe pass some of them on to others who might like them. I live off Councillor Lane near the Mickerbrook pub and Lidl. Free: Halogen brushed chrome 'mother & child' floor lamp (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted This is a brushed chrome floor lamp with working halogen bulbs. The 'child', the smaller light, can be angled so you can use it as a task light when your are sitting in your armchair, and it can be independantly switched on from the larger 'mother' uplighter light. Free: 2 cups & saucers, plate & little dish - playing cards design (Cheadle Hulme SK8) Gifted These are so cute - 2 cups and saucers (cups are slightly different design) and a matching plate and small dish, all with playing cards on, plus a wooden playing cards box with 2 used packs of cards in it and a 1989 Strategic ACOL bidding book (explaining the ACOL bidding system for playing Bridge). The front of the wooden cards box is coming away from the actual box, I think the glue has dried up - I will see if I have any wood glue and try and repair it before it is picked up.
