Request: Musical Instruments for B'ham Ukranian Children's Orchestra (Alcester Lanes End B14) Expired A message on behalf of Birmingham for Ukraine. Everyone with a musical ear/interest - following the launch of the little Ukranian orchestra called "Vinochok", we are now expanding to greater depth with more instrumentalists. We have secured some funding from a philanthropist to enable some music lessons, so now looking for more instruments. If any of your family no longer play and an instrument is sitting around, collecting dust, please consider lending it to a young child/teen to play. This can be a life changing experience. We need: Violins (8) Violas (4) Cello (2) Guitars (3) Flutes (3) Clarinet/Oboe (2) Bassoon (1) Bass Guitar (1) And incase anyone has a double bass hiding in the attic we would like one of those too. Concert performance in November at a church in Moseley and another in Leamington Spa. Details TBC. Please help with instruments if you can. Free: Firewood (Alcester Lanes End B14) Expired I have some firewood for anyone that can use some. Must take the lot pictured. I want to repurpose the glass on top for DIY greenhouse or cold frame. It's the remains of my old wooden greenhouse and scraps from my shed building project. You'd probably need a transit van or similar.
