Request: warm winter clothes, phone (Courtenay) Looking for warm winter clothes for a homeless person. A winter coat or jacket, sweaters, long underwear etc. Size Large. (but not too large, he's pretty skinny). He could also use a phone so he can communicate with family, if anyone has an older phone they no longer need. Can pick up anywhere in the Valley. Request: hot plaate (Courtenay) Withdrawn Does anybody have a one-burner hot plate they no longer need? I'm trying to find one for a many who was homeless. He now has a place to live but no way to cook.

Request: sleeping bags (Cumberland) Expired I know a couple of homeless people who really need sleeping bags. Some nights they can't get into the shelter and have to sleep outside. If you have one you no longer need it would be much appreciated. Not too bulky and in a stuff bag for easy carrying would be best. I'm in Cumberland but can pick up in Courtenay or Comox next time I go there. Thanks.
