Wearable blanket (new and unpacked) (Cookridge LS16)
Gifted
I got this for Christmas last year, but never wore it, nor opened the packet. I remember seeing a photo of it and it looked warm and cosy (it's just not my kind of thing), but should be great for this cold weather.

Ladies gloves, new and never worn (Cookridge LS16)
Gifted
I bought these to wear when I'm stargazing at night and sit outside. But then found others more suitable for that. I never wore them. I would think they were medium to large size

various net curtains, some new and unusued (Cookridge LS16)
Gifted
We are moving house and I just found these in a suitcase. Some were new and never put up and others had been used, but were too good not to keep. I had forgotten about them, but there are blinds in our new house and we won't need them. Most were for large windows, but can easily be shortened and reduced in width. Ignore the creases... as I said, they had been stored in a suitcase for a few years.

Boxes for moving house (Cookridge LS16)
Received
I have a few hundred books and need boxes that are strong, but also not too big for my books. (If too big, the box will be too heavy to lift). A kind Freegler has kindly given me a lot of boxes already, but I have also been buying more. Are there any Freeglers out there who have the kind of box I am looking for and which are no longer needed?

Moving home - dozens of boxes (Cookridge LS16)
Received
I've got a few hundred books; boxes I need can't be too big (otherwise the box will be too heavy), but should not be shoebox size either. Does anyone have boxes left from either decent size Amazon / etc. deliveries or their own move?

Complete course material for Open University Course SD805 (Cookridge LS16)
Withdrawn
This is for an MSc in Psychology. The module was 'Issues in Brain and Behaviour'. I took it in 2007 and kept the material. The two options given were on 'Neural Ageing' and on 'Addiction'. The various papers fill a box file. Due to house move I have to thin out books and papers. It seems a shame to throw it away. There is a lot of fascinating reading there if anyone is interested.

This was an unwanted Christmas present we got some years ago. The print has never been out of the plastic envelope it came in and is still sealed in. The pencil drawings are by Jonathan Wood, a great sketch artist. Being new and sealed, it'll make a great Christmas present.

Gold braided sleeveless jacket (with mirrors) (Cookridge LS16)
Gifted
This waistcoat / sleeveless jacket was kept in a suitcase for three decades. The background material is black and feels velvety, with thick gold braids and mirrors in the circles. I am not sure whether it has ever been worn, I can't see any evidence of that. But having been stored in a suitcase for a long time, it could probably benefit from some airing. There are no fastenings at the front; it's worn open. I measured 46 cm at chest when it was laying flat.

More than 100 Ancient Egypt magazines (Cookridge LS16)

There are a number of loose magazines as well, 4 for Ancient Egypt, and 10 of KMT (A modern journal of Ancient Egypt). Publication dates are from July/August 2002 to April/June 2017. As far as I remember, they are complete with no issue missing. Due to house move and future lack of space I have to part with them.

Strong boxes for moving - esp. Hello Fresh (ideal size) (Cookridge LS16)
Received
I am slowly packing for our removal and still need more boxes. Having just used one of the Hello Fresh boxes, they are wonderfully strong. But smaller sizes are also perfect for the many books I have got (better to put them in smaller boxes, otherwise it's too heavy to lift).
