Free: Wooden beads for crafting (Walkley S6) Brown, cream and wooden beads, originally from a necklace which broke. The larger ones are about 1cm diameter. The smaller ones are about 2-3mm diameter. String them back up to make a new necklace, or use for a different craft project. Saucers and pen not included. Not suitable for small children due to small size. Free: White silicone sealant (Walkley S6) Gifted About 3/4 tube left over from sealing jobs done yesterday and today. Suitable for bathrooms and kitchens. Does anyone else have a DIY project that needs sealant and can make use of it before it dries out? I think this stuff is only good for 2-3 weeks once opened... Free: Pieces of heavy duty fabric (Walkley S6) Gifted Offcuts of heavy duty waterproof fabric (leather-like plastic on cloth backing). Left over from a project making shopping bags. Approximate sizes are: Blue/ grey piece 61cm x 27-30cm Green piece: 69cm x 80cm Black piece 52cm x 36 cm Red piece 120cm x 29 cm All are about 1mm thick Might be good for a small project or to practise with if you’ve not worked with this sort of fabric before. Free: Vase/decanter (Walkley S6) Gifted I think this was intended as a water/wine decanter, but it has mostly been used as a vase so, although I have washed it, it might need doing again with disinfectant if used for drinks again. Free: Double bedspread/ throw (Walkley S6) Gifted Beige acrylic throw, designed for going over a double bed (hence the rounded corners one end), but would work well over a sofa or futon too. Free: White silicone sealant (Walkley S6) Expired White sealant for bathroom or kitchen. Opened this morning and used for a very small job, so there’s almost a full tube still left. This tends to last only 2-3 weeks after opening, so is anyone else doing some DIY in the next couple of weeks who would like it? Collect from Walkley, not far from Langsett Road. Free: Tea light candles (partially used) (Slack Lane DE22) Gifted Several bags of partially used tea light candles. I don't know how easily they'd re-light, but if any of you want them for this or another purpose (melt them down to make new candles, perhaps, or use the wax to lubricate a woodworking lathe) do get in touch! Take one or more bags. Must be collected by 3.00pm Friday 21st Feb at the latest.

Free: Cushion for armchair (Slack Lane DE22) Withdrawn Firm foam cushion to place over your existing armchair seat to give you more support or height. Hand made, so no fire safety label, but was made recently, so I would think it complies with standards. Sides are 44cm long and it’s 9cm thick. Must be collected by 3.00pm Friday 21st Feb at the very latest

Free: Old Towels (Walkley S6) Withdrawn Several old towels. A couple are bath towel size, most are hand towel size. The one at the top of the left pile in the photo is a funny shape and might once have been a beach robe. All are very worn and tatty, but perhaps one of the many dog owners among you might be able to make use of them after a muddy walk. Collection is from Walkley, not far from Langsett Road. Free: Beaded necklace (broken) (Walkley S6) Expired Necklace made from brown and cream wooden beads. The bigger beads are about 1cm diameter, the darker tiny ones are about 2mm diameter. The thread has broken, but I’m sure it would be easy enough to mend. Or maybe use the beads for a different crafting project! Collection is from Walkley, near Langsett Road. Free: 5 feather cushions (Walkley S6) Gifted 5 feather cushions. 4 of them are roughly 45cm x 43cm, the 5th is slightly smaller, at 34 x 38cm. Salmon pink covers. Slight small stain in the corner of one of the bigger ones. No fire safety labels. Not suitable for people with feather allergies. Collect from Walkley, near Langsett Road.
