Free: Lumber (Shepherd Park) Gifted (3) 2x4x10’ (6) 2x4x8’ (6) 2x4x5’ (2) 2x6x10’ and some shorter bits, some a bit weathered, but all good condition, no screws or nails, no pressure treated. Great for bonfire, tree house, or actual construction. Price is right!

Free: LUX thermostat (Shepherd Park) Expired LUX brand programable thermostat. Independent settings for start and stop times and temp setting for Weekday morn/day/evening/night Sat morn/day/evening/night Sun morn/day/evening/night Works great. We needed a new system so we upgraded to WiFi smartypants style. Porch pick up in Shepherd Park.

Free: Aluminum extrusion 2 x 25ft (Shepherd Park) Gifted Two pieces of extruded aluminum, each 25’ long, painted “bronze” (looks like brown to me). These are leftovers from a custom screened porch kit, so they’re funny shapes. One is an “F” shape, 5” x 1.5”; the other is a shallow channel 3” x 1” with some squiggles - see images with tape measure for details and scale. They’ve been in the yard, so they’re not especially clean, but they’re in excellent condition below the dirt. A few scratches in the paint. You can have some touch up paint if you want it. As raw AL they’re worth more than nothing, but I just want them gone, and I couldn’t in good conscience cut up 25’ just to recycle them. Come pick them up. Bring a truck or a chopsaw or grinder, or all of the above. If you’re actually using them for their intended purpose, I’m sure I can dig up the profile/part numbers.

Free: Fireplace tool set (Shepherd Park) Gifted Poker, shovel, broom, and stand, and a mini-bellows that need the leather replaced. Stand, poker, and shiver 27” tall/long, broom is a bit shorter. Bellows were obviously not part of the set, but you have to take them anyway.

Free: Malone roof rack parts (Shepherd Park) Expired These are the towers that grab onto the side rails on top yer car. I don’t know exactly how they work, only 3 of 4 locky bits, no key, no rails. No wonder I’m giving them away! But good for parts or whatever.

Request: kitchen lower drawer units (Shepherd Park,DC) Expired Looking for counter base drawer units for use in a garage workshop. Don’t have to be pretty, don’t have to match anything, don’t have to have counter attached (better if they don’t, but either way works). Drawers are ideal, but doors or open shelves are ok too.

Free: LG washer/dryer stacking kit, 27” (Shepherd Park,DC) Gifted KSTK1 27-inch Laundry Stacking Kit Worked well with out ThinQ models, but we rearranged. We forget to peel the double stick tape when we installed, so really these are as good as new.

Free: Wheelbarrow for little kid (Shepherd Park,DC) Gifted It’sa mini wheelbarrow sized for toddler to age 5ish(?). One handle is broken, but easily replaced. Or even fixed with a couple of zip ties. Red steel bucket, wood handles, plastic wheel. Brick for scale - it’s little.

Free: Concrete cleaner/degreaser, 16oz (Shepherd Park,DC) Gifted Leftover rest, Rustoleum cleaner, degreaser for concrete. About 2 cups left from my project. Use straight for bare concrete (maybe enough for a front stoop), or mix 10-1 for painted surfaces, according to the instructions.

Free: Shelves for garage, shed, pegboard (Shepherd Park,DC) Gifted Eight shelves 8” deep, 24” wide, 1” thick, in fair condition - not pretty at all, but functional. No brackets, supports or hardware, but I know they fit on 8” pegboard shelf supports. Phony wood vernier, probably over low density something or other. One less thing in the landfill.
