Free: 20 Vintage Posters and a Globe (Kenmore near Inglemoor H.S.) Promised 16h - I'm hoping to give this whole collection to someone who likes unframed vintage posters, and maps. Globe • Circumference – about 38” • Wood base • Mountains are in relief (raised areas) • Excellent condition Posters >Bands, Nature, Events, Travel, Cultural >All are gently rolled-up; not in frames. >Conditions vary from mint condition to fair but all are complete and frameable. Large format: 1. Laminated map of the United States (ready for hanging) – mint condition 2. Glacier Bay – travel poster 3. Alaska Southeast Coast – Fathoms map – scientific – for sailing 4. “The Joy of Seeing” – American Optometry Association 5. Phoenix and the Valley of the Sun – “City Character Print” – cartoon images, very colorful 6. A Prairie Home Companion – movie poster Standard-sized posters: 1. Elliott Bay Book Company 2. The Elementary Particles – published by New Scientist Magazine 3. Mushroom art prints – on large glossy paper. This was a 6-page calendar (months are listed in small print below the large illustrations); each sheet could be framed as a poster. The art looks like watercolors. The mushrooms are: “Matsutake,” “Chanterelle,” “The King,” “Big Red,” “Wood Blewitt,” and “Amanita SP.” 4. Mount Everest - color photo poster Smaller formats: 1. Seattle Aquarium – Pacific Dreams by Melissa Cole – Sea Stars 2. Albert Einstein picture/quote. “You cannot simultaneously prevent and prepare for war.” Black & white. 3. U-District Street Fair poster 1986 4. Jim Henson’s Fantastic World exhibition at EMP in Seattle 5. Annapurna South Face – photo print - vintage climbing poster from Berkeley, CA 6. Greenpeace – Save the Whales, vintage black-and-white drawing (print) 7. Eagles – photo poster. This is complete, although has 2 tears near the bottom; it is authentic from the era 8. Allman Brothers – small 2-sided vintage poster of the album art & playlist of the Eat a Peach album (1972) 9. Kawasaki G-3 100 advertisement 10. 6 small prints of India royal court scenes from 1600-1800. The images are on separate sheets, lightly attached to a calendar (easily removed and framed)
