Free: Wardrobe box - pick up by 11am (Cleveland Park) Gifted 76d - I have a wardrobe box from U-Haul. It makes it very simple to move clothes. There’s a rack, that metal piece, that you attach in the two openings. Then you can just slide the hangers onto that, and keep your clothes, tidy, and all together,, while transporting them. Pick up in Cleveland Park by the metro. You must come before 11 AM.

Free: Queen box spring and frame (Cleveland Park) Gifted 76d - Queen bed box spring and metal frame. Pick up in Cleveland Park in NW, DC. you can Google Cleveland Park Metro have a better idea of how much time it will take to drive here. The mattress has been taken. Only the box spring and frame are left.

Free: Opened snacks (Cleveland Park) Gifted 77d - This is not for everyone, since they’re already opened, but I’m not one to stick my hand in a bag. Kettle corn, pretzels, tamari crackers. These items must be picked up in Cleveland Park today ONLY.

Free: Long lasting DV Cam battery (Cleveland Park) Withdrawn 81d - CGR-D53 battery For Panasonic mini DV camera (from 2000-2007). This is long lasting and lasts nine hours. You plug the smaller part into the back of the camera. To charge the battey, plug the small part into a battery charger unit. If you don’t have one, Google charger for Panasonic DV Cam. Pickup in Cleveland Park near the Metro.

Free: Gaiam (foam?) bolster (Cleveland Park) Gifted 82d - I'm not sure what material this is (foam?) but it's a bolster for yoga, etc. It's decent, not great in my own opinion, but you might be more fond of it than me. Pick up in Cleveland Park near the Metro. Must be picked up by Wed. Feb. 7th.

Free: Ambico old mini DV Camera bag (Cleveland Park) Gifted 82d - This was used for my mini DV camera back around 2001-2004. You could maybe use it for other gear too, but if you still have one of these old-school digital cameras, they would fit. Pick up in Cleveland Park near the Metro. Must be picked up by Wed. Feb. 7th.

Free: Royal looking chair, needs cleaning (Cleveland Park) Gifted 82d - Free Royal looking chair. The cushion needs some cleaning though- mostly a few stains from food, drinks. This was in a home with a little dog two years ago and then briefly in a home with a cat soon after. But, both were in 2022. Just clean the cushion and you should be good. I'm moving and don't want to bring the chair with me. So, my loss is your gain. I'm busy this whole weekend, so pick up next week on Monday night at 7:30pm or Tues. (2/6) or Wed. (2/7) late morning or afternoon. Pick up only during these times, no exceptions. Please have a vehicle large enough to transport it. A SUV with the seats down should do the trick. Please bring a friend to help you lift and carry it too. Pick up in Cleveland Park near the Metro.

Free: Two Adequate Bookcases (Cleveland Park) Gifted 83d - These bookcases are serviceable but not meant to hold a lot of weight, unless you have a way of anchoring them into the wall. These are low quality wood/particle board but still work enough to use. Pick up near Cleveland Park Metro. Please pick up on Friday if you can, or even tonight, Thurs. night if you're nearby.

Free: Kitchen supplies (Cleveland Park) Gifted 84d - The last photo has square bowls that I believe are from bamboo or compostable material. I might actually keep the reusable bottle. TBD. Pickup in Cleveland Park near the Metro.

Free: Sunglasses holders (Cleveland Park) Gifted 85d - These fabric items are intended to hold sunglasses. I believe I lost the little hooks that come with it though. I was using these to display other items, so they can be used to hold other things like masks. Pick up in Cleveland Park. Preference is for pick up today (Tues.) or tomorrow (Wed).

Free: Penguin onesie, coat, fun scarf (Cleveland Park) Gifted 85d - The penguin onesie is meant only for indoor use. It has little penguin faces on the feet that are actually pretty big, so they do not fit in shoes. And if you wore it outside without shoes, the feet would get really dirty. Adult sized for a person around 5’ 10” and average build. Fall weather jacket. Good for temps in the high 40s and up. The jacket became a bit small on me. Probably meant for someone with around a 32 inch chest. Fun scarf with little pom-pom balls. Pick up in Cleveland Park. Preferences for pick up today (Tues.) and tomorrow (Wed.).

Free: Floral rug (3.5 fit x 5.5 ft) (Cleveland Park) Gifted 85d - Floral rug that is 3.5 x5.5 feet. From my friend’s apartment two years ago and she had a dog. This was also briefly in a house that had a cat two years ago too. Pick up in Cleveland Park. Preference is for pick up today (Tues.) or tomorrow (Wed).

Free: Tuxedo , Suit (Book) Jacket (Cleveland Park) Gifted 85d - Please tell me why you want/need these items. I need to know. If you respond, “Hey” or “I need this” or something similar, you will get no response from me. I want these to be used by someone who will enjoy them. Tuxedo outfit includes bow tie. I’ll have to find the cummerbund though. Both suits are around a 32/34 chest and the pants are around a 30-34 inch waist. Suit (book) jacket, silky smooth on the inside. You could wear it inside out, with the books showing, but it feels really scratchy. Pick up in Cleveland Park today or tomorrow preferred.

Free: Queen bed-mattress, boxspg, frame (Cleveland Park) Gifted 85d - This is a whole set- mattress, box spring, and frame. The sheets and comforter ARE NOT INCLUDED. HERE ARE SOME IMPORTANT DETAILS. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND ONLY RESPOND IF THESE ARE ALL YES RESPONSES. 1) Pickup is ONLY POSSIBLE ON THURS. FEB. 8th from 8:30am-12Noon. If you can’t come in that time window, PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND. 2) You must provide your own helpers to lift and carry all the items to the elevator, down the elevator, to the exit and your car. 3) You must provide a large enough vehicle to SAFELY transport all items. If this means you need to tie it on your roof, then please bring rope or other necessary items and allow enough time to make two trips if needed. FYI- The metal frame separates into small pieces and can easily fit in any car. But obviously this would all be easier if you had a cargo van or borrowed one, or even rented a U-Haul just for a few hours. I believe you can rent a cargo van through Zipcar, by the hour. Check first. 4) You must wear a mask when inside my apartment. No exceptions. If your answer is NO to even one question, please move along. I’m sorry to be so picky, but I need to be confident and certain with all the above. I’m also going to see if any friends are interested too. The mattress is in decent condition and I’d say medium firm, with a bit of a dip in it. You could probably flip the mattress to avoid the dip too. Pick up in Cleveland Park.

Free: Comfy recliner (Philadelphia) Gifted 86d - Comfy recliner. THIS RECLINER MUST GO ASAP! PICKUP EITHER TODAY OR ON TUESDAY. The recliner is really comfortable. As you can see from the photos, there are multiple positions you can put it in- all the way back, etc. So if you want to kick your feet up, go ahead. You’ll have a great spot to sit and watch the Super Bowl in two weeks. And even better, this is located on the first floor, and only 40 feet from the door. You won’t have to move it far or angle it around many curves. Just one narrow area to get it through by the apartment door. Please bring friends to help you lift it and a large vehicle, Uhaul, or cargo van. Also, it would be easier if you had a dolly, so you only have to lift it and not carry it.

Free: Comfy Reclining sofa- 7 feet long (Philadelphia) Expired 86d - THIS COUCH MUST GO SOON! PICKUP EITHER TODAY OR ON TUESDAY. The sofa is really comfortable. As you can see from the photos, there are multiple positions you can put the sides in. So if you want to kick your feet up, go ahead and flip it up. If you want a normal couch, then put it back down. The sofa does have one tear and a little bit of ground-in dirt on the one corner. But IT’S 100% FREE!! And even better, this is located on the first floor, and only 40 feet from the door. You won’t have to move it far or angle it around many curves. Just one narrow area to get it through by the apartment door. Please bring friends to help you lift it and a very large vehicle, Uhaul, or cargo van. Also, it would be easier if you had two dollies, one for each end, or even three to move it, so you only have to lift it and not carry it.

Request: Moving boxes- medium or large (Cleveland Park) Received 92d - Hi. I’m looking for medium or large moving boxes, just your normal square boxes. Looking to pick up in the Northwest DC area. I’m looking for boxes in great condition, not beat up or moldy, etc. Thanks! Free: Dining table, chairs, barstool set (Philadelphia) Gifted 94d - Dining room table, which is probably about 4‘ x 4‘. The table has a few scuff marks and stains. See close-up photo. There are three chairs and one of the chairs has a tear on the seat cushion (not pictured). As far as the barstool and that table, it’s a high top. The high top table is in excellent condition, but the barstool needs a crossbar piece. There is only one barstool. See photo of it and the missing piece. The high top is about four feet long by 1.5 feet deep. Pick up is near Fox Chase train station, on Pine Road. Free: Large dresser, DIY drawer fix (Philadelphia) Gifted 94d - This large, heavy dresser is nice, but a few of the drawers need fixing. If you know someone who’s handy or are handy yourself, then this would be a good item for you. The great part is that the dresser is located on the first floor, and there are no stairs. The apartment is right near the entrance/exit as well, so at least it will be an easy out. Please pickup today or Monday. Location is near the Fox Chase train station (Septa Regional Rail).

Free: Queen sized bed, box spring, riser (Philadelphia) Gifted 94d - Queen size bed includes a mattress, boxspring, and a riser. The riser at the bottom allows for you to put a headboard at the top of the bed, and to hold it in place. Bedding not included. Please provide your own transportation and at least two strong people. The great part is that the bed is located on the first floor, and there are no stairs. The apartment is right near the entrance/exit as well, so at least it will be an easy out. Free: Random items (Cleveland Park) Expired 100d - Random items- the first photo is bathroom supplies. The square things are rubber drain covers. the circular things are small cases for small items about the size of a quarter. The second photo is a bunch of bookmarks in one Ziploc, and a bunch of lanyards in the other. the third photo is a sphere that could fit in your hand. The fourth photo is two mini-USB cables. The sailboat and the next photo is a small piece of art, I assume it’s ceramic. The final photo has a string for a necklace, two keychains, and a small wad of play money. The multicolored bracelet and the little gorilla eraser have been claimed. Pickup in Cleveland Park near the Metro.

Free: A bunch of blank VHS Tapes (Philadelphia) Gifted 103d - My Dad has a bunch of opened but unused VHS tapes. Pickup near the Fox Chase train station. Pine Rd area. Pickup only next weekend- Sat. or Sun. (1/20, 1/21). Free: Mac Laptop from 2016, it works (Cleveland Park) Gifted 104d - PLEASE let me know why you need it, for who it's for, etc. I want to know how this item can help someone. So, this MacBook is from 2016. I wiped all my info from the laptop, so it's clean and good to go. I then reinstalled the Catalina iOS software and that's what it's using. It's super lightweight but...the screen has issues, so it's basically "a mobile desktop." Just grab an HDMI adapter and HDMI cord, hook it up to your monitor (as in the third photo) and voila!! You have a working screen!! Take it from home to another space with a monitor/TV (hotel, relatives house, friends' house, etc.) and it's manageable. I wanted to donate this to DCPS or a similar space but the rules are too rigid. They want it under warranty and under 3 years old. Other organizations are out in CA but pop up on Google for being in DC. So, since this is a nicer item, And, sorry, but the Eagles sticker is basically permanently stuck on there. Hope the person I pick is an Eagles fan too. ;-) Pickup in Cleveland Park near the Metro station.

Free: DIY Sewing. "Project Backpack" (Cleveland Park) Gifted 105d - I have two backpacks that are way too expensive to fix at the repair shop/cleaners, $30 or more. So, if you have the time, skill, and energy and want two decent backpacks, or just one, let me know. The Granite Gear one comes with a warranty, which I've already used to replace it. The khaki one is tiny and needs the zipper tightened back up to the fabric, among other things. Pickup in Cleveland Park near the Metro.

Free: Big Flashlight (Cleveland Park) Gifted 106d - The flashlight was working the last time I used it, but one of the batteries was corroding a bit. I cleaned it up. Part of the inside battery compartment is held together with some electrical tape (bottom of the third photo) but it should be fine. It uses Four D batteries (Picture 4). Pickup in Cleveland Park near the Metro. Let me know what day and when you can pick up.

Free: Early 2016 Mac Laptop, works (Cleveland Park) Expired 106d - So, this MacBook is from 2016. I wiped all my info from the laptop, so it's clean and good to go. I then reinstalled the Catalina iOS software and that's what it's using. It's super lightweight but...the screen has issues, so it's basically "a mobile desktop." Just grab an HDMI adapter and HDMI cord, hook it up to your monitor (as in the third photo) and voila!! You have a working screen!! Take it from home to another space with a monitor/TV (hotel, relatives house, friends' house, etc.) and it's manageable. I wanted to donate this to DCPS or a similar space but the rules are too rigid. They want it under warranty and under 3 years old. Other organizations are out in CA but pop up on Google for being in DC. So, since this is a nicer item, please let me know why you need it, for who it's needed, etc. I want to know how this item can help someone.
