Free: Bathroom cabinet (Walkers Heath B38) Gifted Sorry to disappoint, but this has been promissed to the first person to contact me by phone, on 8 July (several days after my post). He is collecting on 13 July. If he does not turn up, I'll check these messages again. I do recommend reading these messages fully - an early phone call would have secured the item. Free: Broken vaccum cleaner (Walkers Heath B38) Gifted It's not the fuse, nor the switch. Found a wire had come loose and re-attached. Worked momentarily, now not at all. Possibly the motor? So available for spares or repair. If interested please either speak to me on my Freegle-only number, 07440-324044. Free: Very old suitcase (Walkers Heath B38) Gifted Unsuitable as a suitcase, methinks. Internal lid stop strap broken, no keys for locks. Stage prop? Quirky storage box? Found a bag of white powder with the pink roll, so I guess wallpaper paste (99% sure it's not cocaine). Probably not working - I've been unable to test it. Could well be about 20 or more years old. Label says model BU304000ukDB, but I can't find a manual online for it. There's one similar Removing the lid, I can see that the lead-acid battery is present (but likely needs replacing) and the wiring etc looks sound.

Small pile of mixed used castors. Tile grout cleaner, unused. Garden tool holders (I think they just fix the handles to a vertical service). Also still have an armchhair, perfect condition. Also headed for tip.

Free: Bathroom scales (Walkers Heath B38) Gifted Salter MaxView, 30cm square, 3cm deep, for solid floor. Batteries included (well, it is nearly Christmas). Display in kg or old money, up to 200kg. Screen has some dirt ingress (see picture) but still readable. Curiously, I have noticed that, consistently over several years, the first weighing is significantly greater than the second, carried out immediately the screen has gone blank after the first weighing, but third and subsequent weighings are all identical to the second. Irrespective of new batteries. I have therefore got used to relying on the second reading. I have compared them with some cheaper scales from B&M bargains. Today B&M scales read 0.2 kg more than Salters, and yesterday they read 0.1 kg less. I guess they are both reliable to around about 0.5kg, and very reliable indicators of trend (subject to battery status). I don't have Freegle or email on my phone. Cover won't fully unzip, so rather than cut it off for a photo I've left it on so you choose whether to lubricate and cajole the zip or just cut it off. Kettle, Sainsbury's, for UK mains. Travel iron, perfect condition, but needs plug. Remington model TL-216 with fold down handle. With carry bag. Not expecting you to want them all. Take just what you need.
