Free: 20 litre containers (Newlyn TR18) 79d - 3 x 20 litre blue containers with yellow screw on lids, that held Sodium Hypochlorite (industrial strength bleach). These could be washed out, but probably not to be used for drinking water, but watering plants would be OK if they are washed out thoroughly. Or they could be cut down for planters or something similar. We have tried recycling, but no luck, and hope they don't end up in landfill. Collect from Newlyn at a time to be arranged. Free: Batteries CR2016 & CR 2025 (Newlyn TR18) Gifted 94d - Assorted lithium button cell batteries - 4 x CR2016 and 4 x CR2025. They came in a pack with CR2032 which I needed, but I don't need these. Free: Double mattress (Newlyn TR18) Expired 142d - Double, Queen size mattress, 4 ft 6 inches wide. No bed with it, just the mattress. Old, but has been on guest room bed, so not used regularly, but no fire label. Silentnight brand, clean, and quite firm. Collect only from Newlyn, and it must go before Christmas. Free: Display cabinet (Newlyn TR18) Gifted 317d - White metal framed display cabinet, with glass, suitable for shops, etc. It is about 30 cms square, and about 1.8 metres tall, and quite heavy, so at least 2 people to move it. It is stored at Penzance Tennis Club, Penlee Park, Penzance, with access via Wellfields car park on Alverton Road. Access to the club will have to be arranged via Tricia Smith, 07968 507808. There is a possibility that we could deliver within about 5 miles if necessary, but collection is preferred.

Request: Water bowser (Newlyn TR18) Received 319d - Water bowser wanted to drag from stream to allotment to water thirsty plants. Carrying watering cans over 100 metres is so tiring, so if you have one tucked away in your shed, maybe donate it? I live in Newlyn and can collect from anywhere in Penwith at a time convenient for you. I want it to cover the seat on a ride on lawnmower/tractor that we use at Penzance Tennis Club to maintain the courts. Thank you Free: Polycarbonate sheeting (Newlyn TR18) Gifted 1y - Sheets of polycarbonate removed from our conservatory roof after at least 15 years up there, but they seem to be reusuable. They have solar reflective tape inserted into most of them, as it was too hot, but these can be removed very easily if not required. There are 7 sheets approximately 290 cms x 70 cms, and 2 sheets approximately 180 cms x 70 cms. There are also 6 metal (aluminium?) bearers approximately 290 cms long that were between the sheets. The rubber seals are not worth saving but they are still here. Everything is as it was when removed, so quite dirty. Collect from Newlyn only as we cannot deliver, and you may need a largish vehicle. Free: Floor tiles (Newlyn TR18) Gifted 1y - Beige floor tiles offered, very heavy, so must be collected from Newlyn. Approximately 60 plus tiles, each one nominal size is 330 mm x 330 mm, so all of them will cover approximately 6 square metres. Make is Ceramiche Guocera, code M859A, Shade R16. Free: TV & digibox (Newlyn TR18) Expired 1y - Small TV, 14 inch probably, complete with digibox and remote control, in working order. Request: Bric-a-brac, etc (Newlyn TR18) Received 1y - We are holding a fundraising Spring Fayre at Penzance Tennis Club, Penlee Park on Saturday 14 May between 10 am and 3 pm, and we have lots of fun games for juniors (and adults), plus craft stalls, and we would love items such as good quality, clean clothes (on hangers where possible), toys & games, plants, bric-a-brac, tombola, etc. It has been over two years since we have been able to hold fundraising events, so this is so important to us to make it a success, and we just hope for good weather as it is outside. If you have any items to donate, you can take them to Penzance Tennis Club BEFORE 12 May, or I can collect from you if you live within 10 miles of Penzance.
