Large box - fun for kids? (North San Leandro)
The lid got wet so it’s no longer flat, but some moisture and a flat surface would fix that. Or that side can face down. Has handles which makes for easy lifting or peeking holes. Would have been fun for our kids when they were little. Hoping someone can similarly enjoy it or make good use of it.

Not used in ages. They do have holes in the mouth so they can squirt water out. For better or worse. ;-)

Paper lanterns, small ones w lights (North San Leandro)

Picked these up from someone else to offer to our daughter. She doesn’t want them. I’ve tested the lights that are in the small ones and they work fine. There is a controller that goes through various blinking patterns. Also a fold out dragon.

Got a 2-pack from Costco last year and never even finished the 1st one so clearly someone else should get this one.

We got these in a too good to go box months ago and never used them. The “best by” date on the bottom says 7/2024, but given the ingredients I can’t imagine that matters.

We thought we would like it as tea, but it’s really meant as mulling spices. It’s been opened and a small bit used, but that’s it.

The sort you push and it seals closed then you push again and it rises to let the water out. Unused. Came with drain and overflow set we bought but we wanted a different type of drain stop.

Insulated electric water kettle (North San Leandro)
Gifted
The seal on the lid isn’t as tight as it used to be so it doesn’t keep temp as long as it used to. My husband always hated that it was hard to pour a very small amount of water slowly. Works fine. Multiple temp settings.

I have 8 of these. We had been slowly eating them and they still taste good, but my kids and husband all stopped eating hummus of any sort. I realized just now in posting that the best by date is 12/23 so maybe no one will want them, but I can tell you I just finished one yesterday and it tasted fine.

I got these in a Too Good To Go box and found that we didn’t like them. It’s time to accept we aren’t going to use these and either pass them on to someone else or throw them out. Not donating to food bank because most are past “best by” date so they would be thrown out. The Plant Boss one has a Best By date of Oct 2025. The Spicy Chorizo one has a best by date of 5/18/2024 The ground taco one has a best by date of 3/10/24.

We saved this from someone’s big trash day pile. Used it for the summer to keep more drinks cold but don’t need it now. It works fine. Tested the temperature and the number on the front digital read out matched our thermometer. It’s a bit noisy when running so don’t use it somewhere that you want to be quiet.

Used jeans with holes (North San Leandro)
Gifted
I have a few pair of used jeans with holes, most of them have holes in the crotch or the butt area. Most are Levi’s. I had held on to them as I thought there was a place that took used jeans and turned them into insulation but I can’t find that so... Anyone have a use for these? The placement of the holes means they really do need patched or something to wear them. I’ve tried patching them before but they are in areas that get a lot of movement and pull so the patches don’t last.

Snap Power LED outlet cover (North San Leandro)
Gifted
2 white 2 off-white You can see one “in action” in the first photo. You take the old outlet cover off, slide this one on. It has clamp things (you can see in the 3rd photo) that touch most outlets in a way that gives them power. We found that some of our outlets worked to have the LEDs point down. Some had to point up. They have a light sensor so the lights only come on when it’s dim enough. My family is allergic to light, it seems, so ours has kapton tape to make the light more yellow and dimmer.

It claims to be medium dark roast. I was expecting something closer to medium. It’s too dark for me. One bag opened, one sealed.

30”x60” bath tub (North San Leandro)

30”x60” bath tub Reposting with a new main photo as my husband spent ~3 minutes with one of those magic eraser sponges after his brother pointed out (as we were carrying it down stair) that one of those might do a lot of good. He was right. More time could make it better, but it was a big enough improvement over the original photos that I figured I should take a new photo and repost. I’m pretty sure it is steel with an enamel finish. I think it is not heavy enough to be cast iron, but it’s definitely metal based. White If no one takes it by Wed or Thurs (8/6-8/7) I’m going to see if Urban Ore wants it.

We already have tool bags, but we were taking things people had in a big trash bin and grabbed the tool bag both to carry things in and to save it from the trash bin. Dusty but in great shape. Has a shoulder strap wrapped up in a pocket.
