Half-gallon plastic jars (UWS 94/Columbus)
There are eight. Dimensions 5" x 5-1/2" x 7-1/2" high. They stack, but don't nest, so any pile will be unstable. Screw-on tops make a very good seal. Useful for food, hardware, you name it. You don't have to take all eight, but you must take at least two.
Free:
Coaxial cable for your TV wiring (UWS 94/Columbus)
Gifted
This is a brand-new, 200-foot coil of RG-6 co-ax, the same stuff Spectrum uses to feed your TV, only theirs is white and this is black. Standard F-connectors on both ends. Impedance is the usual 75 ohms.

Indoor LED flood lamps (UWS 94/Columbus)
Gifted
Three lamps, never used, for indoor applications. The one important spec not shown on this side of the packaging is the color temperature, which is 5000oKelvin. This is extremely white, close to sunlight, and therefore not generally used for residential indoor lighting, whereas the old familiar incandescent lamps are 2700oK, much more yellow and therefore kinder to skin tones. However, these will do fine in the high ceiling of a garage or warehouse or gymnasium.

1979 Motorboat Equipment Directory (UWS 94/Columbus)
No idea where this came from, since I'm not a boater. It's 240 pages; see the cover image for some details of the contents, and then the page I chose at random for an example of a detailed listing. If you're a boater, here's your chance to transport yourself back in time 45 years, without going near the water!

"Internet radio" for tinkerers only (UWS 94/Columbus)
Guaranteed NOT to work—quoting from the Livio website: "All Livio-branded radios will not work, under any circumstances, after January 31, 2021." So there. This item dates from 2010 or so. If there was a manual it's now lost. Hooking it up now, it only makes small pops and the tuning ring lights up, that's all. This is for you if you know your way around electronics, perhaps as a small speaker-amp playing audio from elsewhere, or whatever. Power supply included, not shown in the pics.

Plays, plays and more plays (UWS 94/Columbus)
Expired
A canvas bag decorated with a sweet feline artwork, full of 15 or so books of plays, some hardbound, mostly paperback, all well worn. Mostly 20th Century American and British playwrights, but one book of Greek tragedies, and one or two that go back to Shakespeare's time, though I don't think he's represented. You must take the lot.

Spalding's Official Base Ball Guide (UWS 94/Columbus)
Expired
A four-CD set in excellent condition, with all 15 of the Base Ball Guides, published from 1889 to 1939. Each Guide is also (mainly?) a Spalding catalog, showing their elaborate line of baseball-related products, from uniforms to bases to bats to balls; the 1906 edition has just under 400 pages. If you're a baseball nut this set is for you!

Electric Bug Zappers (UWS 94/Columbus)
Expired
There are two; take one or both. Been laying around for years, never used. They're 20 inches long, roughly the size of a badminton racket. I've seen others in action, and they do work, once you've found your aim. CAUTION: These are not toys! Keep away from kids! Anyone messing with these is in for quite a (literal) shock, since there's thousands of volts present when the button is pressed. Used properly they're quite safe; messed with, they're dangerous.

Repost: Business card tray (UWS 94/Columbus)
Expired
The solution to random piles of business cards. We made this tray to fit a standard (?) desk drawer. It is 15-3/4" wide, 11-5/8" deep and 3-3/4" high, with a floor just the right height for easy access to standard 2-inch-high cards. It holds a gazillion cards, actual count. Alphabetical dividers included, but not the cards; that's your department.

Wooden dining table curbside (UWS 94/Columbus)
Expired
See the pic. This table is in front of 110 W. 94th Street, as of Thursday afternoon 1-18-24. I didn't measure it, but it looks like about 50" diameter. It looks like it divides for the addition of extensions, but there were none with it. Also, the matching dresser, which you see the back of, is in not good shape; I couldn't make the drawers slide, and there are various dings. You'll need a van and two people to wrestle the table into it.

Furniture leg floor protectors (UWS 94/Columbus)

I ordered 16 small; they sent 32 large. These really work, once the proper ones arrive—the chairs now slide silently where before they made awful noises. The trick is getting the size right, so it goes on and stays on; see the pic for dimensional info.

Cuisinart coffee filters, plus (UWS 94/Columbus)
Expired
Two brand-new filters. Plus… The Cuisinart folks aren’t so good with telephone orders, so I am left with some wrong filters, which they didn’t want back. They are: 3 Cuisinart Model GTF-4 gold tone filters, new, marked for their DCC-450 coffeemaker Non-Cuisinart: 1 Finum Coffee Star No. 4 filter, new In searching for the correct filter I also accumulated the following. I don’t know which make or model they work with, but they're NOT for the four Cuisinart models DCC-1000/1100/1200/2600. They are: 2 Flat-bottom filters, no identifying marks or packaging. These look like they’ve been used a bit, but close to new. They’re just a little smaller around than the Coffee Star No. 4. Plus, three Cuisinart water filter holders, brand new, in packaging marked ‘for DCC-2800.' OK to take only what you need.
