Free: fine marker pens (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Promised Four Staedtler "Lumocolor" pens. Very fine tip permanent markers. Label on pens says "waterproof on most surfaces; CD/DVD; lightfast". Unused apart from trying them out for the photo.

Free: Cable for under-cabinet lights (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Two lengths (at least 1 metre each) of cable provided for under-shelf (over-kitchen counter) lights (LED I recall). Sorry, no lights with this. There are also cable clips and screws in the small bags. Happy to answer questions if I can!

Free: computer cable (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired A computer cable with one USB connector, the other end I do not know, sorry. About 1 metre long.

Free: Ethernet cables (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired Two unused ethernet cables. Bag around one set says "06962 10 M. STP Ethernet" (so I'm assuming 10 metres long, but I'm no expert on this stuff!). The black cable has printing along the cable which says (as far as I can make out...) "E258106 Cat.5e UTP 26AWGx4P PATCH CORD ISO/IEC 11801 & EN 50173 VERIFIED TIA\EIA 568B BROAD 210412". I would have added"LOL" to that! Need a cup of tea now.

Free: magnetic boxes (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired These are small magnetic boxes designed to clip onto a magnetic chalk board (or a fridge for example). The brand is KalaMitica (<kalamitica.com>). Often used for holding potted house plants, the second photo is a shot of one of mine (a bit bigger than these) that I am still using. These boxes are small ones: the cube ones are 5.5 cm deep, 6 cm square (so a little bit more than 2" in each direction); the larger ones are same depth, 14 cm long.

Free: Purple paint for exterior woodwork (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired A nearly full pot of purple paint (splodge on lid shows the paint itself). Johnstone's "Puturple" in Stormshield Flexible Satin. Recently bought, but the colour did not look right on my front door against grey wall paint. A full pot covers 15 to 18 sq meters, so would reckon a good 12 square meters worth in there.

Free: paint tester pots (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired Eight tester pots (so matt emulsion), in greys and mushroom-y colours. I think the colour names are visible, but if anyone would like more detail please ask. Thank you.

Free: bin used as water butt (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired A black bin which has been used as a water butt, no lid or tap but does not leak. Might be useful on an allotment? I've had it in my front garden, but it's not very pretty! (Have upgraded...)

Free: RHS Encyclopedia of Garden Plants (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired RHS Encyclopedia of Garden Plants - reference book (1997). 1080 pages, so rather heavy! And that has caused the spine to come away from the book. The pages are however all there and in clean and good condition, so could be a useful text book for someone.

Free: Standby Saver (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Gifted A "British Gas Standby Saver" , which looks like a multi-socket and can be used as such, but which also can cut power to appliances when not needed. Quote "It does this by recognising the signal from your TV remote control". There are some FAQs on the other side of the info in the photo - if anyone wants more info do ask! Never used (think these were given out by British Gas for free when they had some duty to help customers reduce energy use).

Free: Regulated 6V 1000mA AC Adaptor (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Gifted Fixed voltage AC to DC adaptor. Max current 1000 mA. Provided with 8 of the most popular power tips. [All that is copied from the box!] Appears unused, although box itself open.

Free: Light switch plate (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired Unopened, some specifications on the back and a leaflet of instructions inside. Specs say "can be used with 16 mm deep wall box or 25 mm for maximum ease of installation - fixing screws provided". Homebase brand.

Free: sketching and tracing paper (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Gifted One A2 pad of drawing paper (90 gsm); one A3 tracing paper; one A3 sketch pad (100gsm). All part used, but over 20 sheets in each pad. All paper in excellent condtion.

Free: tapestry frames (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired Two frames for tapestry working. One frame is 18" / 45 cm wide (inside measurement), the larger one is 27" / 69 cm wide. Both in perfect working order.

Free: small sea shells (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired Two teeny boxes of sea shells collected about 60 years ago... cowries, tiny cockle shell type, broken bits but smoothed by the ocean. Might be good for a craft or art project? Will add to compost heap if no-one claims!

Free: wooden bobbins and sewing thread (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired About two dozen wooden reels with assorted sewing thread. Mainly cotton I believe but not all labels are intact. Some say "Machine Twist".

Free: petrol mower (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired Toro brand "recycler" petrol mower, with a Briggs & Stratton engine. 53 cm, so quite big but self-propelling. Five height positions. It was running last time it was used, but that was last year. No doubt it will need fresh fuel (and oil). Sorry I don't have a manual for it, but Toro have a lot of info and manuals on-line.

Free: copper & brass polish (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired A nearly full bottle of "unrivalled anti-tarnish brass & copper polish". 250 ml. Maybe there are some brass candlesticks needing a shine somewhere. I'd be happy to deliver within a few miles!

Free: LED under-shelf lights (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired Three interconnected LED lights that can fit under a cupboard or shelves over a work surface (eg kitchen counter top). There is no plug so some electrical know-how needed. Overall length is approx 180 cm, but the lights unplug from each other so it is possible to use one, two, or three lights at a time. One light, including the two thicker bits where the cables plug in, is approx 34 cm. Each light has an on/off switch although I recall that switching off light no. 1 switches off all three, whereas switching off light no. 3 just switches off just that one. Cleaned with white spirit so vgc.

Free: Bubble wrap (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired Two to three square metres of bubble wrap. Clean (I just unwrapped a large garden tool).

Free: Big umbrella (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired Multicoloured man's umbrella, 100 cm long (39") including handle. Doesn't collapse down further. Pretty good condition but not absolutely mint. Very serviceable, it's just too big for me to handle.

Free: Marking paint in spray can (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired Nearly full can of marking paint (bright yellow). The top cover has been lost, otherwise perfectly functional.

Free: Saucepan lid holder (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired Metal organiser for saucepan lids, can hang on a wall or back of door. Excellent condition. 65 cm tall, 18 cm width at maximum (lowest rung), 6.5 cm deep.

Free: two-wheeler barrow (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Expired A Haemmerlin wheel barrow with 2 wheels (inflatable - one picture shows the pump connector). Some rust, but no holes and very, very sturdy. Note that with two wheels it is not as agile as a one-wheel barrow - the wheel base spans about 75 cm (30")

Free: Agility equipment (for dogs) (CB4, off Chesterton Road) Gifted Six poles which stick into the ground. Dogs weave in and out of them in agility trials. Good condition, about 90 cm tall I guess.
