Thank you Free: Jade Plant Cuttings (Craigie PH2) Expired 1y - Propagate these easily by putting them in a cup of water. When they grow roots pot them up in cactus soil mixed with perlite for drainage in a plant pot with drainage hole. This is a high light plant so put it on a windowsill in front of a south/west/east facing window. Water when the soil is completely dry. Pruning causes it to branch out. I'm just gonna give all the cuttings to one person who can share them out as they please.

Request: Sand bags (Craigie PH2) Expired 1y - Unfortunately, this is my street. My house has been getting flooded periodically throughout my life but as of 2020 and this year it's started to get deep enough to actually flood my first floor. We're in an escalating climate crisis and unfortunately this means it is only going to get worse and more frequent. A lot of people are in need of sandbags right now, but if you happen to have a supply that you don't need i'd be very grateful for a share to protect my home. Even sand without the bags is helpful, i've been given some empty bags to fill an use too.

Free: Houseplant Cuttings Mystery Box (Craigie PH2) Gifted 1y - As you can see, i have a lot of houseplants. They bring me a lot of joy! Most of these were grown from cuttings i got for free over the years and so i'd like to return that favour. I'll give you a selection of cuttings from at least 5 different houseplants for you to propagate and watch grow. They start off really tiny but they have so much potential if you have patience! I'll give you some advice on how to care for them to give them their best chance. Feel free to let me know what houseplants you already have to avoid duplicates or wing it and get a surprise.

Free: Jeruselem Artichoke Tubers to plant (Craigie PH2) Gifted 1y - This is a hardy perennial vegetable that is very easily grown much like potatoes. Plant it and it will send up huge very tall stems which eventually flower into small sunflowers later on. Makes a good temporarg edible alternative to a hedge. It duplicates itself under the soil producing a massive crop. Pick right when you want to eat it at any time of the year as it doesn't store well at all. Leave some in the soil and they'll come back next year. This can get invasive so put somewhere you don't mind it spreading. Cook the same way you would a potato, peeling first. This contains inulin, a sugar that doesn't digest well so don't eat too much at once, theres herbs you can add to meals that help with digestion.

Free: Graphic Novel 'In.' by Will Mcphail (Craigie PH2) Expired 1y - This is about a man who feels disconnected from people so he decides to stop making small talk and try to have meaningful conversations with everyone in his life. You can probably read this in a few hours, it's short and sweet and occasionally quite lovely.

Request: Watering Cans (Craigie PH2) Received 1y - All but one of my watering cans have broken and i'd prefer to put old ones to use before buying a new plastic one. Free: Draceana Houseplant (Craigie PH2) Gifted 1y - Accidentally bought and left outsjde thinking it was a garden plant. Has a bit of frost damage but is still alive. Theyre pretty hardocre plants so i recon itll keep living for years. They grow into little trees.

Request: Catmint Cuttings to Propagate (Craigie PH2) Received 1y - My catmint didn't survive the winter but i know my neighbourhood cats are waiting to get their fix. The easiest way to grow them ks through propagation so if you have a plant i'd really appreciate a piece please. Free: Houseplant Cuttings- Tradescantia (Craigie PH2) Gifted 1y - Tradescantia Fluminensis 'Tricolour' I'm about to massively prune this plant and am happy to give a few people lots of cuttings to kick start a new plant. One of the easiest plants to propagate: put cuttings in water on a sunny windowsill. When there's lots of roots add to a plant pot with drainage holes (to prevent rot) in houseplant potting mix (houseplant soil + 1/3 perlite mixed together for drainage). Water thoroughly till totally moist, let it dry completely then water thoroughly again. Don't let it sit in water. Put in a windowsill. If you notice crisping leaves make sure you're not letting it stay dry for too long or pull back a little bit at a time to see what brightness it can tolerate. The more light it gets the more full the growth will be.
