Dell U2412M monitor, with screen damage Dell U2412M 24" monitor 1920x1200 (16:10) No stand. VESA mount. There is damage to the bottom right as seen in pix. It's not as annoying as I thought it would be, still quite usable. From ebay, I was sent a replacement, so offering here. Please provide phone number and approximate location if replying.

V.Old shabby laptop & computer bits (Disley SK12)
Expired
LAPTOP, ACER TRAVELMATE 2410 I'm relisting this and adding some other bits and pieces as it was clear people were not appreciating the limitations of this very old laptop. Of those who included at least their phone number as requested in the listing, I spoke to a very nice chap who wanted to drive 1h30m round trip to collect, and had to tell him in all good conscience that he'd resent paying the petrol. Please read and understand the description before responding, with phone number and approx location. Kindly donated to me by another freegler, unfortunately insufficient for a viable Nextcloud server as intended. It was originally supplied with Windows XP. I haven't tried (I don't use Windows), but I'd be surprised if it would even cope well with Windows 7. I've installed a lightweight Linux distribution (Antix), which in my judgement is the best possible use of its limited potential for desktop / GUI computing, but really it's most suitable for computer nerd projects as below. It's old, battered, 32bit, but functional. Has a lightweight Linux distro installed, which is "usable" for internet browsing, email (wifi is working), word processing, spreadsheets etc. Struggles with video though. Battery is good for a few minutes only, you'll need to keep it on mains power. Lid cracked near hinge. On the plus side, the keyboard has a really nice feel, that touch typists will appreciate (I'm told). OK for the many less graphically intense games available (free) for Linux. Possible uses include computer you can leave in garage / shed / man cave, or projects such as pi-hole ad blocker, vpn server, private Syncthing phone backup etc. If you want to back up your phone without giving your stuff to Google, (you should) I highly recommend Syncthing, ( ) and may be able to help setting it up if required, if you're not too far away. So while you COULD use it for writing a book, or for your one man business needs, you wouldn't really want to. It won't do video based games, and any teenager, or anyone who has used any 64bit machine, is likely to be very disappointed. However if your teenager wants to learn Linux and you don't want to let them loose on the family machine... maybe. OLD PC MINI TOWER FOR SPARES OR REPAIR Celeron D, originally supplied with WinXP Home - so was never a flyer. On power up the PSU stops for a few seconds, then restarts, and stays up. At this point the CPU fan spins, but there's no VGA output, not even BIOS. So it might work with a PCI graphics card, or it might be faulty MOBO. Two RAM sticks. No HDD. Includes two IDE optical drives, and a PCI wireless card with external antenna, known to be good when last in use. BITS AND PIECES Netgear 100MB LAN switch / PSU, known working. BT dual band wifi range extender - plastic earth pin is broken off, comes with UK to Euro adaptor to make good, known working. USB webcams, no drivers or manuals, so state unknown. Ethernet cables -15m grey, 3m blue, 4x90cm red and others. The laptop and non-working PC are at the very limit of being worthwhile travelling for. The whole bundle might be of interest if you're a tinkerer, and I might be able to deliver while out on other business, depending where you are.
