I'm hoping to be able to have at least 2 laptops I would prefer for them to be complete but they don't have to be in running condition as long as they at least turn on. Free: toshiba Satellite A135-s4427 (Whitman) Expired 1y - hello my name is Sean Courtney I own and run a small computer Repair business in small office from the backyard of my home. I am giving away an older toshiba satellite A135-s4427 laptop. for specs it has an intel core 2 duo, Windows XP Professional SP3 32-bit Microsoft Office 2003 Professional 32-bit, 2gb of DDR2 Memory, a 250gb Mechanical Hard Disk Drive, an optical disk drive, VLC Media Player, LibreCad, .net framework 3.5, CDBurnerXP, and ImgBurn. This laptop cannot run windows 10 or newer due to lack of driver support from Dynabook who currently owns Toshiba. it also doesn't have a webcam. it was manufactured around 2007 I wouldn't recommend going online with it either. this laptop would work best for someone who needs a laptop for offline office work such as Word Processing, playing dvds, or working with offline applications, (not for gaming) this laptop comes with a charger and a copy of the orginal windows Vista Home Premium factory restore disk. the reason I put windows XP Professional on it is because it's faster then the what it originally came with which was windows vista Home Premium. It also had an intel pentium single core 32-bit processor, that I upgraded to an intel core 2 duo. it also came with only 512mb of memory which I also upgraded to 2gb. it can handle up to 4gb of memory, but I found that to be pointless for windows xp 32-bit or any 32-bit os because a 32-bit OS cannot take adantage of more than 2gb of memory. I also replaced the original 128GB Fujitsu hardrive with a western digital 250GB mechanical Hard drive that I got out of an hp laptop from around the same time period that died. the drive was wipped and reformated with windows xp professional 32 bit. if you are interested in it you can text me, email, me or message me. to arrange a pickup date.
