Request: Sewing machine or repair (Vienna Woods/Arden arcade) Expired Hey freecycle community, I am Super super close to completing a really awesome sewing project, but my machine made a big THUNK and stopped working! The motor goes, but the needle doesn’t move. Does anyone have a machine they no longer need, or that I could borrow, or does anyone know how to repair sewing machines ? I am seeing a tote bag of canvas and am doing the hems and handles (belt material ) so it’s too heavy of fabrics and thinkness to do by hand. I would so appreciate a good working machine if possible. Request: Veg, herb , and flower starts (Vienna Woods/Arden arcade) Received Hey all, I completely missed my window for starting seeds in the garden spring and am now scrambling to get my garden going low budget style. Does anyone have extra starts? I would love Peppers (bell and chili) and Tomatoes especially, but I love it all except okra and beans Thank you! Request: Fabric scraps (Vienna Woods/Arden arcade) Received Hello everyone, I am looking for small bits and pieces of fabric scraps for an art project with my Girl Scout troop. We are learning about how important it is to plant trees for the Girl Scout World Thinking Day and My Tree Promise patches. I got a book from the library about Dr. Wangari Maathai who spearheaded a tree planting campaign in Kenya. The illustrator of the book used colorful and bright patterned fabrics and oil painting to illustrate the book and I would like to have my girls do an art project using colorful fabrics and acrylic paints to make collages in the same theme. I would so appreciate any donations for our art projects. We will also be learning about sewing very soon, so I would love fabric and supplies we can use for pillow cases, tote bags, aprons, or other good beginner projects. I can pick up in the greater Sacramento area, but Arden-arcade and Carmichael are easiest. My girls are so creative and just love doing art and making crafts! -thank you in advance! Sue

Request: Basketball hoop (Vienna Woods/Arden arcade) Received My son would just love an adjustable height basketball hoop. It needs to be in good shape. We will be sharing with our next door neighbor(grown man), and my son will be playing with the neighborhood kids, so it can’t be falling apart. I have a truck to pick up, but depending on the day, may really appreciate help loading. (I may be able to bring adequate help). Thank you advance!

Free: Cool project chair (Vienna Woods/Arden arcade) Expired This chair has good bones, but needs some sprucing up for sure. I’ve had it on my porch for a while, so this kitty cats have clawed it a bit and sat on it with dirty paws 🐾 Hoping someone can spruce it up and give it a new life. Free: Upper and lower cabinets (Vienna Woods/Arden arcade) Gifted Nice cabinets with loads of storage. I received these from freecycle year ago and have used them in my garage. We are now ready to pass them on to bless someone else. One drawer is off it’s track. It came this way. We have the track. It should be an easy repair. I meant to the entire time we had these and never got to it🤪 Adjustable shelves. Super sturdy. 9’3/4” long, ~18”deep top cabinet , ~24” inch deep bottom cabinet Must help remove top cabinet. Bring a few strong people to help you load. Priority given to who can pick up first. We need these out, but don’t want to put them outside in the weather. Request: Corks, thread spools, buttons… (Vienna Woods/Arden arcade) Expired Hello everyone and happy holidays! I am looking for small pinecones, acorns, corks, old school Christmas lights and ornaments, buttons, spools of thread (with or without thread on them, and old wood ones would be awesome), marbles, old silverware, shells, ribbons and the like for craft projects. If you have a stash you aren’t using, I would appreciate them. I am also look for ceramic and terra cotta pots or pieces of pots- the larger the better, for garden projects
