Free: lawn care tools (Pasadena) Gifted 34d - We've moved to an apartment and no longer have a yard to tend. Tired of these taking up space in the closet. Non-power: 7x long handle tools, 4x small tools, 2x long pruning shears, large drain snake, wheeled tool cart. (See pictures.) Condition varies. Electric: Black & Decker pruner; Teho three-piece trim/shear/prune set. In Teho set, trimmer has been used a lot, the shearer only a little, and the pruner not at all. The three Teho all use the same power cord. The B&D is missing its power cord. Tell me when you want to come by and what all you want to take. I expect to be home most of Sunday and Monday. Preference will be given to someone who wants to take all of it. Preference also given to someone who can set an exact time to come by and will reliably show up when they say they will.

Free: moving boxes (Pasadena) Gifted 71d - About 25 of them. Mostly small and medium, with just a couple large ones. Also some leftover bubble wrap, packing paper, and smaller shoebox-sized boxes. In Pasadena near Colorado & Craig.

Free: couch/bed (La Crescenta, CA) Expired 127d - This was a second piece to a couch that we no longer have. When our daughter was in middle school, it got a lot of use as an extra bed for sleep-over parties. The top mattress comes off and can be easily taken into another room. Springs in bottom piece are partially collapsed, but it still holds up. Not too heavy. We're on Evelyn St near Ramsdell (by the high school). Free: hand truck dolly (La Crescenta, CA) Gifted 127d - This was a top quality dolly, but lately the tires go flat. You can refill them, but they go flat again in a day or two. Free: large stuffed animal, like new (La Crescenta, CA) Gifted 127d - Barely been touched. A boy won it at a carnival for our daughter but she wasn't interested. It's not huge, but a little bigger than an average teddy bear. Free: Disposable Shoe-Cover Booties (La Crescenta, CA) Gifted 133d - Like you'd see at a realtor's open house, these are the things you slip over your shoes so you don't track dirt inside but don't have to take off your shoes. Free: Large rug, 10 ft x 7 ft (La Crescenta, CA) Gifted 133d - Purchased from Pottery Barn Teen about two and half years ago. Free: "Happy Birthday" balloons (La Crescenta, CA) Expired 348d - They were inflated on Friday, when we bought them for a Saturday birthday. As of today (Monday) they appear to be completely intact so probably good for a few more days. Maybe someone else has a birthday coming up soon? If interested, tell me when you want to come get them. Free: Flood-size light bulbs (La Crescenta, CA) Gifted 1y - We kept these when we moved, but it turns out there's nowhere at this house we would use this size, so they're just taking up space on the shelf. For normal size socket but bulb flares out for floodlight. Eight bulbs total. One box is full with all six, the other box has only two remaining. Free: Dog Food (La Crescenta, CA) Gifted 1y - Our dog passed away five weeks ago. Most of his stuff will be given to charity, and we're still in the process of gathering it up. The only thing I'm giving away now is some food. I have about two gallons of dry food in a small plastic bin plus about one gallon in a large metal-and-plastic bin. Both bins seal tightly and have been closed since our dog passed away, so even though the food has been out of its original packaging for approx 6-8 weeks I believe it is still reasonably fresh. (It still smells fresh.) The fifth picture is just to show you what brand of food it is; we are NOT giving away the unopened bag. Also, we are not giving away either of the bins, so when you come to pick up the food you need to bring your own container to pour it into. If you are interested, tell me when you would like to come by to pick it up. Location is Evelyn St near Ramsdell.

Free: flat screen TV, 43", Vizio (La Crescenta, CA) Expired 1y - For some reason it stopped getting the video input. Audio plays just fine, and Vizio logo briefly appears when you first turn it on, so I know the display isn't dead. But without the video signal it's useless. I have no idea if this is an easy fix or a hopeless one, but no one in our family is the fix-it type, so we just gave up and bought a new TV. I figure the old one is headed for electronics recycle, but if anyone wants to try to see if it's fixable you're welcome to it. I know that electronics recycle charges a small fee for recycling ($6). I'll cover that fee for you so that you're not stuck with it if you can't fix it.

Free: AP English prep book (La Crescenta, CA) Expired 1y - This is last year's book, but I don't think it has changed much.

Free: Calvin Klein Obsession perfume (La Crescenta, CA) Gifted 1y - Our college age daughter wanted to try this, but then she decided she didn't like it after all. Bottle is nearly full, just a few squirts used.

Free: Calvin Klein boxer-briefs (La Crescenta, CA) Gifted 1y - Size medium (32"-34"). It comes as a three-pack. Two pairs are still in packaging, never been touched. Optionally, you can also have the third pair, which was worn once and then laundered.

Free: Decorative Lamp (La Crescenta, CA) Gifted 1y - Giving this away because of problem with on/off switch: The button is supposed to toggle the lamp on and off, but it's jammed and no longer toggles. It's stuck in the "on" position, so lamp works fine as long as it is plugged in. You could plug it into an extension cord or outlet that comes with its own on-off switch. (Also, it's still possible to toggle it on and off by using pliers to pull the button all the way up.)

Free: Dog cooling scarf (La Crescenta, CA) Gifted 1y - NACOCO 2 Dog Instant Cooling Scarf, 4 of them, large. (Picture is for small dog, but ours fit a larger dog.) The idea is you get it wet and put it in the freezer, then you can put it around the dog's neck in order to keep him cool for a walk on a hot day. (#8 of 8 dog-related posts.
