Viking 250W mains electric domestic garden shredder. The motor works. It rattles and jams in use. I think this is because a) the blades are blunt and b) there are worn protuberances on the metal plate that you attach the blades to. See pics. I think you will need to sharpen the blades (DIY or get it professionally serviced (e.g. by Wright’s at Shepreth - see photo.) Worse, maybe an expensive replacement part is required, beyond the standard blades kit. I don’t know. Sadly I don’t have the capacity to look into fixing this shredder; I just need it gone.

Wooden frame, veneered plywood tabletop, shellac-coated magazine rack. 36”x18” height 14” This is a unique handmade table with magazine rack. Dimensions in inches because that’s how my dad would have measured it when he made this in the 1960s. He melted old records for the shellac used to coat the steel rack. Has some minor marks and water damage on one leg.
