Free: Sting of light bulbs (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Gifted Everybody loves a string of lights, and why not? These are as new, for inside use only, and like all electrical items they should be tested and installed by a competent person / electrician. The integral plug has an inbuilt timer to switch them on and off for a preset period of time. You can see their effect in the photo. Note: These cannot be used outside. Free: 240/12v Transformers (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Gifted Hi all, I’m gradually swapping out low voltage lights for mains powered ones and have the first 6 transformers that have been made spare. They were working OK when removed from above the ceiling last week. Like all electrical items you should have them checked before reinstalling them and have them fitted by a qualified person. Request: Broadband router (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Expired Hi All, I’m trying to set up a 2nd wireless access point that can be loaded permanently with a VPN to try out US Netflix (they seem to have better series!). Does anyone have a spare/ redundant one that might fit the bill please? The more recent the better - maybe 2.4Ghz / 5Ghz choice. I’ve tried a linksys 320 but the management software wouldn’t work on Windows 11. Vodaphone 3000 is also too locked down for a VPN set-up. My broadband is BT fibre 1 with a series 5 router and I intend to use a spare LAN port for interconnection or maybe a Wi-Fi channel. Plain advice on connection method welcome. Thanks for reading.

Approximately 2200mm wide including bendy bits on the end. It has an extension piece which takes it up to 3000mm. There is also a fourth bracket still in its packaging. Free: Pillar Drill for spares or repair (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Gifted Hi All, Clarke Metalwork Pillar Drill was working OK then created a smoke cloud and now blows fuse when plugged in. Its most likely the motor that's kaput. You're welcome to give it a try if you have the know-how to fix it. Not something to mess about with though if you are not competent. Electricity can kill if not treated with respect and all safety precautions observed. Needs to be collected quickly as its bound for the scrappers. Very heavy. Thank you for reading.

Free: Adults fold-down cycle (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Gifted Hi All, Another Freecycler gave me this a couple of years ago and I'm ready to pass it on now. Its an adult size cycle with 20" wheels. It folds down into something the size of an average car boot although the central 'break point' is a little difficult to operate until you're confident that you're not going to break it. Not quite Reynolds 531, it is heavy - good job its got wheels. Pretty good condition all around. The rear gear set wheel needs checking as it doesn't seem to run true though the 6 gears work OK. The spindle could have a buckle, it may just need tightening or it might even be my eyesight. There's a little carrier on the back that might hold a couple of bags of crisps and a stand that works. Stands do have a habit of kicking into the wheel so any owner might want to move or adjust it a little. Collection from near Grace Rd. I'll have a look at requests over the weekend then gift so no need to send multiple replies of increasing frenzy thank you. Thank you for reading.

Does anyone have one of these machines they no longer use please? Ive tried the Dymo hand label type with zero success - reminds me of the old tinplate machines at the railway station. Free: Two 5’ twin fluorescent lamps (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Gifted Hi All, Two 5 foot double lights. One needs a new choke so three of the four lights work OK. I’m replacing them with LED. They have been in use in my garage until today. Collect from near Leicestershire cricket ground. Free: Roberts Dreamdock DAB radio (Leicester LE2 Aylestone) Gifted Hi All, Nice little DAB / FM radio with iPod docking connection, headphone socket and Aux in. Great sound, as are all Roberts Radios. The iPod connector is for the old style 30+ pin connector so there may not be many of those left. It is working and tested today but I seem to recall it being a bit temperamental. We stopped using it as it had become unreliable. Anyway, it works now. Approximate size is 150mm wide x 60mm high. Comes with original power unit. The little cover for the docking port is missing. Remote control is there too with a new battery. Collection only from near the Cricket Ground.
