Request: BOYS size 8+ clothes (Seattle - U District) Hi :) Looking for used boys size 8 or bigger clothes and size 1 or bigger shoes. Any season/any type appreciated. Anything we cannot use we will donate, which we’ve done with all outgrown clothes. :) Unfortunately, I cannot travel outside the U District (near campus). If you happen to have any boys clothes and are coming by UW campus/The Ave area, we would greatly appreciate the donations!! Thank you so much! 😊 🙏

Request: Thanksgiving/Christmas resources (Seattle - U District) Withdrawn Hi! Low-income family in need of resources for food to cook at home and present for one child. * I contacted all the places I have in past years, but this year I haven’t gotten a single response after repeated attempts. I’m getting worried. I’m not sure what is going on this year, I know there is very high demand for help but if anyone knows of resources for: Thanksgiving: Turkey/food to cook at home (can’t go to public dinners d/t chronic illness) and Christmas: Food to cook at home (any) and toy/clothing for young boy. ...Thank you so much in advance!!

Request: Women’s Clothes sz. XL/2XL (Seattle - U District) Received Hi! I have MS and have been having a lot of swelling and mobility issues lately…now none of my clothes, socks or shoes fit :( I was wondering if anyone had any Women’s clothes sizes XL or 2XL they no longer need? I’m always at home and often in bed so the best kinds of clothes would be: sweatpants, yoga pants, t-shirts, sweatshirts, pajamas, nightshirts, tank tops, etc. (anything comfy/stretchy would be great as I deal with a lot of swelling) I also need big socks and shoes in size 9-10 (women’s). No transportation, unfortunately, but husband can meet in U District area. Thank you so much!! :)

Request: used Recliner (Seattle - U District) Received Hi! I have M.S. and I would really like to be able to spend more time in the main area of my home with my husband and young son… I was just wondering if anyone had an old, comfy recliner that no longer want or need? We don’t have transportation, but I’m sure my husband could figure out a way to get it if it meant I would be bed-ridden less often and able to be part of the family more… Thank you in advance!!!

Request: Recliner for M.S. mom… (Seattle - U District) Expired Hi! I have M.S. and I would really like to be able to spend more time in the main area of my home with my husband and young son… I have a rare thing with my feet…always need to be up or get hot, red, and very painful… Anyway, was just wondering if anyone had an old, comfy recliner that no longer want or need? We don’t have transportation, but I’m sure my husband could figure out a way to get it if it meant I would be bed-ridden less often and able to be part of the family more… Thank you in advance!!!

I was wondering if anyone in or near the U District has a shower chair they no longer need? I have heard the Wallingford Senior Center might have some but I do not have transportation and cannot get there.
