Free: Shot glass chess set (Eskbank EH22) Checkered glass board in perfect condition, with shot glasses marked as chess pieces. Unfortunately one is missing (see photo), but could perhaps be replaced? A couple of the white stickers have also been rubbed off. I'm not sure that bothered my student youngster, who's clearly enjoyed using the set, but a white 'chalk' pen could maybe sort those. Original box. Any interest? Disclaimer: please drink responsibly. Free: Large cardboard boxes (Eskbank EH22) Expired Large, clean cardboard boxes used to deliver a bedframe. One is huge - 205cm x 139 x 17 There are two measuring 80 x 79 x 5.5 Another two: 77 x 31.5 x 11 - these are open at one end One measuring 37 x 115 x 14. Are these any use to anyone for storage, someone who needs large amounts of cardboard, or making toys for toddlers/cats/whatever? I need a quick response please, as they're taking up much of my hallway. If there's no interest by tomorrow morning (Friday), they're off to the recycling centre. Thanks.

Free: IKEA Hemnes bedside table (Eskbank EH22) Gifted White wooden bedside table in excellent used and clean condition. Perfect for a young or teen girl's room. Comes with tiny added sun 'motif' (see photo), which may come off with Cif, or could easily be painted over, if not to your taste! Request: Roofing felt and nails (Eskbank EH22) Received Rather than buying a full roll of roofing felt, I thought I'd see first if anyone on here has some left over from a project. It's not for hedgehog houses this time, but to patch the perished edges of the roof of my garden shed. What I need is 4.5m x 15cm, but I could get this by cutting strips from a useable 1m length. If you also have felt nails you no longer have a use for, I'd be delighted to take them off your hands too. Many thanks.

Free: Hollyberry cotoneaster (Eskbank EH22) Gifted This cleverly self-seeded in a plant pot beside my garden shed. It's approx 60cm high x 60cm wide. It grows into a lovely shrub/small tree. Great for biodiversity too, as bees love the flowers in spring. Produces clusters of red berries in the autumn, which look great against the dark green leaves. I also have a second available - again self-seeded and because of its location right next to the shed, this one is taller and leggier at approx 120cm H x 90 W. Request: Roofing felt for hedgehog houses (Eskbank EH22) Received I'm looking for a small amount of roofing felt, please - 3 x (45cm x 45cm) - to waterproof the bases of my hedgehog houses. After so much rain, I've realised the wooden bases won't last long without further protection. I Freegled the roll I had a couple of years ago and rather than buying another for the small amount I need, I thought I'd try here first to see if anyone has some left over from a project. A hedgehog tried entering my house last night in the heavy rain, so any help is appreciated for what is clearly needed!

Free: Empty (but interesting) gin bottles (Eskbank EH22) Expired Four gin bottles - all empty, but interesting shapes. Two with cork stoppers, the others are screwtop. I know some people like to turn them into lamp bases, reuse them for their own homemade drinks, or to store whatever. Thought I'd offer on here first, before putting in the recycling. Any takers? Free: Old-style TV on stand with scart input (Eskbank EH22) Expired CRT TV used by my kids for playing games on vintage consoles & needing scart input. Great working order when last used. Screen approx 23". Comes with original remote. Dimensions - TV: approx 59cm W x 55 H x 44 D Stand: base 54 x 35 cm Total height (inc wheels): 88cm Easily manoeuvrable on its wheels, but heavy & will need 2 people to lift into vehicle. Request: Slimline TV (Eskbank EH22) Expired Looking for a 32"- 40" TV, please, for a young man setting up a flat for independent living. He's excited to finally be able to do this, after being in hospital for several years. If you're upgrading to a larger TV and your existing one is still in good working order, preferably with a remote, I'd love to hear from you. If it's a smart TV, even better! Free: Illuminated globe lamp (Eskbank EH22) Gifted Light-up globe. Some damage to the top (see photo), but some of the map can be glued. Once the top disc (currently inside the globe) is put back in place, it will be barely noticeable, especially if put on a higher surface. Free: Braun Magimix (Eskbank EH22) Gifted I've had this for many years, but it's now time for it to find a new home. It could be very useful at this time of year! Comes with lots of attachments - juicer, shredder, slicer, whisk, etc. Unfortunately, after it was lent to someone, it was returned without its main blade, but I imagine a spare could be found? It's also missing a small piece of plastic on the rim of its main jug, but that doesn't affect its operation. The lid still fits tightly and prevents spillage. In full working order. Request: Polystyrene beads for adult bean bag (Eskbank EH22) Expired I have an old and well-used bean bag, which really needs some more filling to make it comfortable again. Rather than buying a large bag of beads when I probably need half that amount (or less), I thought I'd try on here first. Does anyone have half a bag or so left over from a project? Free: Collection of herb/spice jars (Eskbank EH22) Expired 15 washed spice/herb jars and another smaller one with a lid. Any good to anyone before they go in the recycling? Free: Fridge - full working order (Eskbank EH22) Gifted Elderly Lec fridge (approx 84h x 50w x 54d). Still in good nick and works fine. It had been demoted to a beer fridge in a friend's house, until I borrowed it after a fridge-freezer failure. That's now been replaced, so this is surplus to requirements and my friend has asked me to pass it on.
