Cool, solid wood vintage Desks (Brooklyn)
Giving away two super-solid, cool vintage desks in great condition. Both are solid wood and come in 3 pieces: 2 sets of drawers and desktop -- so they’re super easy to move and assemble. (I moved them around myself!) Have some scuffs but in great working condition, with smooth and roomy drawers! ** Larger desk was my mom's -- she wrote many books and articles on it so it has great writing juju! The dimensions are: drawers are each 28" high; 19.25" deep; 24" wide; the desktop is 24.25" deep x 72.5" long (about 1.25" thick) ** Smaller desk was my dad's. In addition to keeping track of bills and such, he wrote in his journal, including a lot of poetry, limericks and sketches – as well as observations and beautiful drawings from all his nature walks. So it has great juju, too! Dimensions: desktop 24.75" deep x 56.75" long [about 1.25" thick) Pick up from storage space in Vinegar Hill by 2/8. If you're interested plz let me know in your message a) which one interests you (or if you want BOTH!); b) when you could come get it/them on Friday morning; Saturday between 1-7. If there's another *certain* time, lmk and can see if can accommodate. (1st 3 pix = mom's desk; 2nd set = dad's desk)

Giving away cool, solid mid century wood desk(s)! Roomy surface— & easy to move bc it’s in 3 pieces: two sets of drawers and a desktop that you set on top. Sorry for the not great pix— it’s currently at my storage space in Vinegar Hill. The pictures are of one of 2 sets of drawers; a close-up of the mod 'feet'; & the 2 desktops. Measurements are: - Desk drawers- 28” high; 19.25 deep x 24 1/8” wide There are 2 sizes of desktops; - Desktop - 24.25” deep x 72.5” long ( about 1.25” deep) - Desktop 24.75” deep x 56.75” x 1.75 thick My mom wrote many books and articles at this desk (with the bigger surface, fyi) so there’s lots of good writing juju in it ! It’s great for someone who needs a roomy surface for work or play! There’s also another set of somewhat more narrow drawers in the same vintage mid century style that goes with the other table top; and my dad used a file cabinet as the other side of that desk.
