Chess set (Woolton L25)

Re-posted due to 2 no shows so please only reply if you do intend collecting, thank you. Black and white plastic chess set. Unfortunately there are 2 pawns missing,1 black and 1 white pawn.This was never a problem when playing we just substituted buttons/coins/counters for the missing pawns. The chess set was purchased in Moscow in 1978 and is in good condition (apart from the missing pawns). The underside of the board is lined with brown material(?velvet) and can close over and fasten for storage of chess pieces.

Large cactus (Woolton L25)

Large cactus plant needs some TLC. I've had this plant for many years but has now grown quite big and heavy and to be honest isn't looking its best. It definitely could do with some TLC. Although it doesn't look it the plant is very spiky and the fine needle like spikes are easily stuck in your skin when handling the plant. It was always very healthy looking but now seems to have developed brown areas. It's been kept in an unheated porch over the winter so perhaps that has affected it. I think it will need re potting this year. The plant is approx 20 inches high and approx 24inches wide and is quite heavy. I hope there is somebody out there who can look after this cactus as it should be.

A useful side table with 2 storage spaces for magazines/books/toys etc. We've had it for about 20 years or so but no longer need it. Its had a lot of wear and tear in those years but is still in fair condition. I don't know what kind of wood it is but is fairly heavy and solidly made. It measures :height 16 inches,width 16 inches,depth 15 inches. It is one piece and doesn't come apart.

Ladies lightweight jacket size 16. It is in excellent condition only worn a couple of times. It is multi coloured with gold thread running through but is mainly cream coloured. The jacket has a fringe trim which goes around the edges (not sleeves). It looks quite dressy and would be ideal for a wedding or similar. The only fastening is a hook and eye at the top.

Size 18 dress and bolero (Woolton L25)

Size 18 long length dress with coordinating bolero. I think you would call it mink/brown colour. The dress is patterned with applied ribbon or tape in a swirly pattern all over. (Apologies for poor description I know this is a recognised technique I just don't know what it's called!) The dress is fully lined but the bolero isn't . The bolero has the same swirly pattern on the sleeves.It is about 6 years old and only worn once for a wedding however some of the ribbon caught on something and there are few frayed bits (see photos) but I'm sure it's easily fixed. The dress measures approx 54 inches in length and doesn't have any zipper or buttons it just goes over your head! The dress is fully lined.
