Cool mid-century vintage desks (Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn)
Giving away two super-solid, cool vintage desks in great condition. Both are solid wood and come in 3 pieces: 2 sets of drawers and desktop -- so they’re super easy to move and assemble. (I moved them around myself!) Have some scuffs but in great working condition, with smooth and roomy drawers! ** Larger desk was my mom's -- who was a writer. She wrote many books and articles on it so it has great writing juju! The dimensions are: drawers are each 28" high; 19.25" deep; 24" wide; the desktop is 24.25" deep x 72.5" long (about 1.25" thick) ** Smaller desk was my dad's. In addition to keeping track of bills and such, he wrote in his journal, including a lot of poetry, limericks and sketches – as well as observations and beautiful drawings from all his nature walks. So it has great juju, too! Dimensions: desktop 24.75" deep x 56.75" long [about 1.25" thick) Pick up from storage space in Vinegar Hill before 7pm on Saturday 2/8. If you're interested plz let me know in your message a) which one interests you (or if you want BOTH!); b) when you could come get it/them on; Tues most of the day til 7; Friday morning; Saturday between 1-7. If there's another *certain* time, lmk and can see if can accommodate. (1st 3 pix = mom's desk; 2nd set = dad's desk)

OH NO! I need a high wattage microwave! I just gave away a perfectly working microwave — and it turns out the one I was given doesn’t work!! 😩 Anyone have a working microwave —over 700 watts (preferably 1000+) to spare ?? I can barely stay fed without one!🙏🏼

Big, solid mid century wood desk(s). Roomy surface— & easy to move bc it’s in 3 pieces: two sets of drawers and a desktop that you set on top of them. Sorry for the not great pix— it’s currently at my storage space that I’m clearing out. Pictured is one of 2 sets of drawers; & the 2 desktops. Measurements are: Desk drawers- cabinet 23.25 high; about 28” w the legs; 19.25 deep x about 24 1/8” wide There are 2 sizes of desktops; Desktop - 24.25” deep x 72.5” long ( about 1.25” deep) Desktop 24.75” deep x 56.75” x 1.75 thick My mom wrote many books and articles at this desk (with the bigger surface, fyi) so there’s lots of good writing juju in it ! It’s great for someone who needs a roomy surface for work or play! There’s also another set of somewhat more narrow drawers in the same vintage mid century style that goes with the other table top; and my dad used a file cabinet as the other side of that desk.

Offering Folding solid wood bookshelves. NOTE: the individual shelves are solid and hold a lot of heavy books or anything you wish! BUT the overall unit was starting to lean so I would only using this next to a wall, unless you want to attach something to the back to stabilize it. They can also be used separately as lower shelves or on a table/desk/countertop. Very versatile and convenient. Wish I still had room for them. Please note when you can come get them. . Sooner is great: I’m around tonight! Mornings are generally not good. They’re emptied, folded and ready to go!
