bunk bed (Four Oaks, NC)
I hate asking for help & have never been very good at it, but I know I gotta this time. I’ve always been the kind of person who wants to make it all happen on my own, but times are tough right now. Have been for a while. So I’m coming to you all humbly. I’m in need of a twin over full or twin over twin bunk bed for my two oldest children (boys ages 9 & 6). The one they currently have is very old & unfortunately is no longer sturdy enough for them to continue using, so out of an abundance of caution I am sacking the current set up and I’m placing their mattresses on the floor for a while while we seek a replacement. We are on limited funds right now (like everyone else is... it’s hard out here yall & I’m sorry to ask you for anything when you’re in the same boat as us), & it will take us at least a few weeks or a couple of months to have the money we can set aside for this expense. They don’t need anything super nice, just something sturdy. I’d prefer metal this time as between the four of my kids, they just wrecked the mess out of the wood one we have. But I won’t be picky about it AT ALL. I just want something safe, sturdy, & lasting for them. We currently have a twin over full set up, but I am confident that I could find a twin mattress somewhere on short notice as I see them on Freecycle & Facebook marketplace often in the case we were to be given a twin over twin. We are in Four Oaks, NC (near Smithfield/Selma/Benson) just off of I-95. I can come pick it up with our van or with a relatives truck if need be. No problem whatsoever.
