Sprague-Carleton Desk (83rd & MLK St Pete)
St Pete 83rd & MLK vicinity Note: this desk is NOT flood damaged 30”Hx50”Lx29”W Solid Hard Rock Maple. Hand made in Keene, N.H. sixty years ago. No cheapest particleboard in this classic. A refinished desk will go for $1500 on eBay. The top has a crack directly in the middle where the two top sections join. You will need carpenter clamps after gluing the two sides together. The top needs refinishing. This desk heavy. It will take 2 people to load it into a pickup truck. An SUV probably isn’t large enough, bc it is 30” tall.
