10:00 – 14:00
This event that has already happened.
Brought to you by WSU Extension
Have something you think can be fixed? Or, are you a fixer and like to help others? The Repair Café is here for you!
Bring your vacuums, lamps, bikes, jewelry…anything you might have and one of our Sustainable Community Steward Volunteer fixers will diagnose the issue and do their best to make it usable again. They will show you their process, order parts if necessary, and help you learn how you can do it on your own with videos or one-on-one instruction.
Event details: https://extension.wsu.edu/snohomish/sustainability-stewards/repair-cafe/
Steps To Participate:
Arrive at event site between 10AM and 2PM
The event runs until 2PM, but often the last hour our repair specialists are finishing up repairs instead of taking on new projects. Plan to arrive before 1:30PM if possible!
Repair Specialists will be on-site to help with your item and will work with you on repairing.
Accepted items include: Clocks, jewelry, vacuums, small appliances, home décor, lamps, and some electronics. Limited textile, leather and clothing repairs are available as well. If you can carry it, we’ll try to repair it!
Please note: We are unable to fund the cost of any additional parts needed. If a part is needed to be purchased to make the repair, our volunteer will contact you to discuss before parts are ordered. Repairs are not guaranteed and we cannot be held responsible for any damage made in attempt to repair items.
Optional: Log onto [WSU Sustainable Community Steward](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/wsu-sustainable-community-stewards-eventsrepai...) donation website and make a donation towards our Repair Café program.
