This event that has already happened.
Brought to you by The Remakery!
This month's event will also offer costume help!:
Feel free to bring any costumes that need repair and get help putting finishing touches on costumes.
Don't cover up that hole, make it beautiful. Bring a cloth item that is in need of repair or practice on one of our denim scraps.
Tools, thread, fabric scraps and inspiration will be provided. Hang out and craft with other crafty folk.
Sewing machines will be on hand for more tricky mending.
Every month we host a Visible Mending workshop where you can mend a piece of clothing, accessory, or practice on a scrap. All the tools and supplies will be provided for hand stitching, applique, patch making, darning, as well as sewing machines. Repairing clothes is an easy and effective way to reduce waste.
Open to all ages, but best for those familiar with how to use a needle.
This is a free event. All materials and tools are provided. Materials are 100% post-consumer meaning we use only reclaimed, recycled or donated items. Childcare will be available.
