WSU SnoCo. Repair Café - Mukilteo
Saturday, 18 January 2025
10:00 – 14:00
10:00 – 14:00
Brought to you by the Sustainable Community Stewards of WSU Extension Snohomish County
Have something you think can be fixed? Or, are you a fixer and like to help others? The Repair Café is here for you!
You can bring your vacuums, lamps, computers (software issues only), bikes, jewelry, and one of our volunteer fixers will diagnose the issue and do their best to make it usable again. They will show you their process, order parts if necessary, and help you learn how to do it yourself with one-on-one instruction. Our fixers can repair your items and keep stuff from being tossed in the landfill!
Please note:
* We cannot fund the cost of any additional parts needed. If your item needs a part for repair, our volunteer will contact you to discuss this with you.
* We don’t guarantee repairs, and we are not responsible for any damages from attempting to repair an item. So, you must sign a liability release form before seeing a repair specialist.
* At these free repair events, we may decline to work on any item – in advance or at the event – depending on the item, the type of repair needed, the fixers available, or for other reasons.
* Two item maximum per meeting. First come, first served.
* Please arrive before 1PM for most repairs, as the last hour is usually filled with completing repairs rather than taking on new projects.
These meet-ups take place at locations around Snohomish County.
Accepted items for repair:
Bicycles
Clothing or fabric goods
Clocks
Electronics
Eyeglasses
Furniture or wood items
Home decor
Jewelry
Lamps
Sewing machines
Small appliances
Tools and small engines
Vacuums
