Grindstone (Glen Cairn) (Glen Cairn, Kanata)

Don’t get too excited until you read the whole backstory: this was once a 2-speed B&D drill (but not reversing, chuck long gone) that had an attachment for this contraption. I no longer need it as I acquired a ‘real’ grindstone (bigger/stronger motor, bigger stone).

It works fine once you attach it to something solid (bench?), but is usable for small jobs only because of (a) small size stone (3-4”), and (b) noise (the drill is a brushed one). It can - probably - work as a handheld grinder but you need a stable hand (I never tried it, never had a need).

If you’re interested, share a good reason/story. I’ll wait 24 hours.
