Kenwood Chef A701A stand mixer (Glen Cairn, Kanata)
Gifted
Purchased ca. 1980, works fine. Same as (not my picture) Includes ALL available accessories: - blender (as shown) - grinder (as shown) - juicer (not shown) - beaters & bowl (as shown) - original booklet. Caveat: as this was purchased overseas, it runs off 220 V, and CAN be (and was) operated in Canada with an outlet adapter (supplied). By the CEC (Canadian Electrical Code), kitchen outlets are wired for toasters, kettles, etc. that are high power, thus each duplex outlet (there are 2 in each duplex) is fed separately, enabling one to attach this adapter and get 220 V. The mixer doesn’t care about the frequency (50 Hz in Europe, 60 Hz in NA) - it chugs along just fine. If you have any questions, give me a ahead and ask.

Make: Mastercraft Maximum The above are surplus as I converted the impact wrench from 14.4 V Ni-Cd (or Ni-MH?) to 18 V Li-Ion (and it works like a charm). The Ni-Cd batteries hold reasonable charge (but way less than Li-Ion!).

Don’t get too excited until you read the whole backstory: this was once a 2-speed B&D drill (but not reversing, chuck long gone) that had an attachment for this contraption. I no longer need it as I acquired a ‘real’ grindstone (bigger/stronger motor, bigger stone). It works fine once you attach it to something solid (bench?), but is usable for small jobs only because of (a) small size stone (3-4”), and (b) noise (the drill is a brushed one). It can - probably - work as a handheld grinder but you need a stable hand (I never tried it, never had a need). If you’re interested, share a good reason/story. I’ll wait 24 hours.
