Basic double bed frame (Purley CR8)

Basic wooden standard double bed frame, dismantled into halves, with boards made from bookshelf-ends to lay on top [drilled for aeration and with screw fixings to the base]. The legs are available, though the middle pair no longer sit in their sockets, but can be replaced with pieces of wood the same height [supplied]. It's a solid base for a mattress, strong enough to support my 125Kg. Delivery is possible up to and including this Saturday within 5 miles of CR8. This is all that remains of our marital bed of 44 years, the box sprung top was removed decades ago and replaced with the boards and a sprung mattress. That has gone on top of our new [freegled 2nd hand] bed as this is now too low for our aged joints!
