Station-style clock (quartz mechanism not working) (Castle MK40)

Could anyone give a home to this lovely clock? I have to tell you now that a) it wasn't lovingly hung in Oakworth Station by Bernard Cribbins in 1905, it was assembled in a factory in Taiwan, and b) the quartz mechanism isn't working, and having tried a new battery to no avail, I'm out of ideas. If anyone knows how to persuade a reluctant clock mechanism to work, or perhaps if anyone could use it as a theatrical prop, it is yours! It is 14" across, and about 4" deep.
