Free: Genuine Indian churidor pants (Castle MK40) Gifted 13d - Two pairs of churidor pants from Fabindia; one black, and the other a lovely burnt orange colour. If you don't know what churidor pants are, you probably don't want them! Free: Three litres of Dulux paint (Castle MK40) Gifted 20d - Three litre tins of Dulux flat matt paint in need of a wall. It's a subtle sludgey mushroomy colour, which calls itself Dusted Moss 1 - it's the darkest one on the sample card.

Free: Leather suitcase (Castle MK40) Gifted 21d - Lovely vintage leather suitcase, which I believe followed my father around in World War II. I have loved it for many years, but I think it is time for it to go to a new home now. It measures 18" wide, 14" deep and 8" high, and is far more decorative than functional!

Free: Black granite trivet/slab (Castle MK40) Gifted 27d - Perfect for kitchen use with hot saucepans. It measures 40cm by 30cm.

Free: Garden pot plant rack (Castle MK40) Gifted 27d - Decorative wall-mounted rack for potted plants - the front part hinges up and you can fit a couple of pots inside. It could do with a bit of a rub down with a wire brush and maybe a bit of spray paint, although the bare rust finish is also quite nice. It is 60cm high and 38cm wide.

Free: Vintage hamper (Castle MK40) Gifted 56d - Lovely wicker hamper, measures 25" wide, 17" deep and 12" high.

Free: Ladies' coat, size 12 (Castle MK40) Gifted 66d - This gorgeous coat is by Loro Piana (Google it to see how eye-wateringly expensive the brand is....), and made me feel classy and elegant for a good 15 years. Sadly, the buttons and buttonholes stand no chance of ever meeting again on me, and it’s time for someone else with a smaller waist to look classy and elegant in it. However (and there is a big ‘however’), the lining is completely shredded, so you will either need the skills to re-line it yourself, or be prepared to pay someone else to do the job. The Zip Yard on the High Street would charge about £80, and you would need to provide lining fabric, which would probably be another £20 or so, but if you can line it yourself, you would have a lovely coat for very little outlay!

Free: Red skirted coat, size 10 (Castle MK40) Withdrawn 66d - Lovely red skirted coat – it’s very old, but it still has potentially lots of life left in it. I say potentially because it needs a new lining – I can give you some material to line it with, and the old lining as something of a pattern, but you would still need to either do it yourself or pay someone else to do it. I always felt very splendid in this lovely coat, and it grieves me to think that I will never be able to wear it again, but the size 10 ship sailed many years ago, and it really needs to go now.

Free: Ali Baba style laundry basket (Castle MK40) Gifted 68d - It's missing its handles and the wicker 'hinge' between the basket and the lid, but that doesn't affect its ability to hold laundry! 24" high.

Free: Clear plastic sheeting (Castle MK40) Expired 90d - Two pieces of clear plastic sheeting, roughly 6 feet square. Could anyone use them for an allotment, or as dust sheets? I think that they started life as mattress covers, but could definitely be made use of in some other way. Request: Four right-angle brackets (Castle MK40) Expired 90d - Does anyone have any spare right-angle brackets that they no longer need, please? They don't have to match, or even be the same size, but for the job I'm doing, it would probably be useful if they were at least six inches. Many thanks, Heather Free: Old-fashioned razor (Castle MK40) Gifted 147d - Is there any market for a pre-loved cut-throat razor (with a new blade, of course). I bought this from The Store as an alternative to plastic disposable razors, but actually it really isn't suited to tender female armpits, and every time that I have tried to use it, the bathroom ends up looking like that scene from Psycho..... It is very postable, should anyone want it, but not want to schlep all the way to Denmark Street to pick it up.

Free: Station-style clock (quartz mechanism not working) (Castle MK40) Gifted 147d - Could anyone give a home to this lovely clock? I have to tell you now that a) it wasn't lovingly hung in Oakworth Station by Bernard Cribbins in 1905, it was assembled in a factory in Taiwan, and b) the quartz mechanism isn't working, and having tried a new battery to no avail, I'm out of ideas. If anyone knows how to persuade a reluctant clock mechanism to work, or perhaps if anyone could use it as a theatrical prop, it is yours! It is 14" across, and about 4" deep.

Free: Contemporary acrylic table (Castle MK40) Gifted 147d - Small acrylic table - measures 18" high, 17" wide, and 11.5" deep. Very nineteen eighties, if anyone still likes that style!

Request: Ladder standoff (Castle MK40) Expired 150d - Does anyone have a ladder standoff that they no longer need, please? I gave one away on Freegle some time ago, and now I really need to get up close and person with my gutters! Free: Small cool bag (Castle MK40) Gifted 178d - Small cool bag suitable for a packed lunch - measures 9" wide, 9" high and 5" deep.

Request: Part bag of concrete (Castle MK40) Received 178d - Does anyone have a part bag of concrete hanging around, please? I need to do a very small job, and of course I could buy a whole bag, but then I would be left with a part bag, so if someone already has a small amount that they don't need, I would be most grateful. Many thanks, Heather Request: Extra-large cat/dog carrier (Castle MK40) Expired 186d - My cat gets horribly stressed when we go to the vet, and I'm just wondering whether he would feel less stressed in a bigger carrier. I already have a large-ish standard carrier, but if anyone has one one of the really big ones that they no longer need, I would be really grateful to give it a go. We can't avoid the vet for ever, but if a larger carrier made life easier, it might not be quite so daunting for both of us. I need to dig out and level a piece of ground to lay a patio, and I would be very grateful if anyone has any left over from a similar project. Many thanks, Heather Free: Garmin Satnav (Castle MK40) Gifted 214d - This satnav works perfectly, but it is about seven years old and can't be updated as the software in this particular model is no longer supported. There will be new roads that it doesn't know about, and housing estates that have popped up in the last few years that it can't cope with, but basically it is reliable until it isn't, and an awful lot of roads haven't changed significantly, so it still has a lot of loyal service to give. Free: Large piece of vinyl plastic sheeting (Castle MK40) Gifted 214d - Large piece of vinyl plastic, 2m by 2m. It has a picture on one side, but would be ideal for protecting a floor temporarily, or covering a pile of stuff outside. I suspect that it wouldn't be suitable for lining a pond, as it isn't flexible enough, but it would be a shame to see it go to the tip if someone could find a use for it. Free: Double glazed window unit (Castle MK40) Gifted 252d - Could anyone find a use for this double glazed pane - measures 32" by 33"?
