Leaky Washing Machine. Spares/Repair. WMD960P(UK) (College Town GU47)

Aesthetics: White, barely a mark.
The bolted seam of the circumference in the middle of the tub drips/leaks. Wide shallow oven tray underneath across front included.
The digital electronic function is sound.
At 1600RPM (faster than most w/ms) the bearings become noisy. Sounds normal at the next setting down. Having replaced the bearings twice over the years I estimate hundreds of cycles before the bearings can no longer handle the lower spin speed.
The spider (that the drum bolts to at the rear) is much bigger and stronger than any other design I've seen for the drum size. Not an issue. The belt, filter, pump, digital display, drum and motor are all sound if using for spares.
Bearings have been replaced, and can be again. I have the specification.
When I last replaced the bearings, the Screwfix OB1 sealant I used around the seam before bolting turned out to be unfit for the waterproof purpose it boasted in the description. It is leaking. Previous sealant from Screwfix, called "Nemesis Mighty Seals & Grabs", lasted the life of the previous bearings and was in great condition when split apart.
Replacing the bearings would of course solve the noise, get the RPM to 1600 and eliminate the dripping in one short project.
